You might want to with a flashlight and or small mirror want to look where the lamp faces at the color wheel---it must be intact and not missing any segments

If bad or not moving at correct speed set will turn lamp off quickly.

99% chance your lamp needs to be replaced. Prices are in $120 -180 range. Search for "50PL9126D/37 lamp". they are available with or Without cage. Version with cage is preferred because it will be easier to install it.

Unplug unit and remove lower back panel should be 2 screws on each side and a few across the middle. Pull panel back and you should see a black box with metal folding handle. Remove the two left screws and pull out.
