Neither my i850 will print black colour! I think maybe this is printer head failure! How much it will costs a new print head? Who knows! I shall try with the new driver!

Similar to others, my black ink isn't printing on my Canon i850. All other colors work fine. I have replaced my cartridge, and cleaned the heads. Any other ideas?

My Lexmark printer 1270 only prints in black and white although the colour cartriges have good ink levals. This has just started happening, it was happily printing in colour not long ago. Many thanks.

Jast go to print option. Then Mantainance. Then try to print a nozzale. If all the colour comes out properly ( with out dot or misline), your cartrige head is goog for print. If not, your printer cartrige head is block. To reque from the problem follow the proces:
1. Unpluge colour cartrige.
2. Try to clean the cartrige head with soft cloth and amonia gentaly.
3. Try to out the ink through the head nozzale pore by using shaking or gentaly swape by soft tissue.
4. Now put the cratrige head upon a soft tissue. ( ink will comes out). If not, repit stage 1-4 until ink come out.
Thank you

On my mfc 260C the black ink print keeps fading to nil but is ok each time for about 20 pages after pressing the ink management button. No problem ever with colour print.

You may need to run the cleaning fuction on your printer to clean the black print heads.

Every month (once a month), you need to clean your print heads to prevent your heads from clotting.

You are now seeing the symptoms of what happens when you do not constantly maintain your cleanliness of your print heads.

If that does not work, try buying a new black cartrige to see if the original black cartrige is defective.

If the above does not work, you may have a failing carrage and may need replacing

But do all of above first and get back to me with what happend during your diagnosis of your issues.

Canon i550 not printing any color, Prints in black OK but no color.

Please check nozzle head pattern first. Is your print head pattern printed perfectly?. Be sure that the print head pattern is ok. No missing line or column. If your nozzle colour is not printed at all even just one point, check the print head or try to clean the print head.

My i550 Canon Printer will not print colour, black only. Colour cart. are full. Computer checked out OK. Driver is OK. All 3 colours stopped printing at the same time. linda gal 16

try looking under the propertys page for the printer and see if its set to print black only or gray scale. if so set it to auto and you should be ok if the printer and cartrige is ok.

I had the same problem after changing the black ink cartridge. I went to Control Panel of my computer, chose Printers, then Canon Inkjet. Chose Properties, then Maintenance, the Deep Cleaning. NOW my printer is working!!

Ip5000 printer

This could be down to None canon carts clogging the head up or clogging the purge unit up, If they are all canon carts it could still be down to the print head, if not it could be down to the Logic Board. At the worse case it could be down to both printhead and Logic Board

Hope this helps
