Need a thread tenson dial for a dress maker 101

If your upper Thread Tension Dial/Assembly is out of whack, broken or missing, then you need to Re-Adjust/Re-Calibrate, Repair or Replace it with a used or new part upper "Thread Tension Assembly". New Exact Replacement Parts are usually not available on vintage machines, so you will need to (a) Buy a used part (Exact or Similar enough to be compatible and work), or
Used parts can usually be found on-line, from used parts dealers or people selling stuff on places like eBay, etsy or Craig's List.
(b) a new generic part that may need to be mounted, but may loose the ability to automatically release thread tension when the presser-foot is lifted. New generic parts are not likely for this part, so unless you can figure out how to rebuild and fix the one you have, your last option may be to bolt-on an independent industrial, "Thread Tension Assembly", that can be bought on-line from Cleaner's Supply catalog < > for the price of a cheap dinner. Hope this helps.

When were the Singer merritt 3013 manufactured?

I have a Singer Merritt, I got it at Goodwill a few years ago, I looked up the manual on the internet and have printed it out in case you need it. BTW, the reason I bought it is because it's superior to what's manufactured today, all parts are metal, not plastic. This machine is no longer made as you've suspected so it was probably made in the 50's. See if you can find any info on the internet as I've done. At my age, it's on it's way out to anyone interested.

Help please. How to adjust presser foot. Where to chg stitch length

Please provide the make and model of your machine. There is generally no adjustment to the presser foot for selecting a straight stitch. You just need to use the specific presser foot that the owner's manual recommends for a straight stitch. The adjustment is made to the stitch length and stitch width selectors. But, since we don't know which machine you have, we can't help.

I bought a white model 609 at the local goodwill. Cannot get the stitch selector dial to turn

It's probably an older mechanical machine which has set idle for many years without oiling or cleaning. Most likely the dial has seized due to the old oil. If nothing is broken, you can probably resurrect this old machine and make it useful again with some good quality oil, heat, a fair amount of elbow grease, and a lot of patience. Good luck!

Can I purchase a foot pedal, adaptor,(if required) and an instruction manual for synergy 8 stitch sewing machine please.

This type of machine is usually referred to as a mini sewing machine and as such it is manufactured by the million with minor styling variations and various makers' badges. They all use the same foot control and power adaptor.

The simplest solution is to search for "mini sewing machine foot pedal" or similar on eBay, but don't pay very much because the machines are simply not worth it. They can be bought new for around £50 including accessories and manual etc. I think about a£10 is what you might have to pay but honestly you'd be better off with a second hand full sized machine.

You haven't said which country you are in so I'm going with the UK. Here's a start: ELECTRIC MINI SEWING MACHINE FOOT PEDAL AND POWER LEAD

Does anyneed a model 5932 singer sewing machine

I don't know if you have found someone by now, but you might try listing it in Craig's List, either for a nominal price, or you can list it as a free giveaway. You can also donate it to Goodwill or the Salvation Army.
