My affinity front load washer drum will not move after the water goes in nothing else happens.

The belt needs tightening, remove the back, you will see a belt which goes around the drum & back to the motor, the motor has an adjustment feature that by moving it away from the drum tightens the belt, there should be no more than 8mm deflection either side of the belt when it is adjusted correctly, when this is done replace the back & your machine should spin & wash, If it does not after this simple fix then you either need a replacement panel (Electronics) or a replacement motor

Cabrio whirlpool washing machine ul will not spin out the clothes the drum bangs its self really hhard everywhere and wont let me soin out my clothes they are wet

If the drum is freely turn then there is no issue with drum blockage.
Tighten the nut that holds the round white motor. In worse case, you may need to replace the motor.

I have a whirlpool washing machine. After taking the back panel off, we saw the belt had come off. each time we put the belt back on and start the machine it works its way off again. how do we get it to...

Normally the motor is below the drum & the belt can be tightened by adjusting the screws which can lower the motor from one side. Best way to adjust the screws for tightening is keep the belt on drum wheel & motor pulley & then lower the motor for adjustment.

Banging noise on spin cycle

My beko washing machine was making a racket like this. What it was was the large blocks of concrete bolted to the drum had come loose. Solution was to get a 13mm socket with a bar and extension and tighten them up really hard as far as I could manage. THen the probelm dissapeared no more banging. Worth a try if your has similar blocks attached to outer drum

Water pouring out from soap tray !!!

hi Water leaks in a washer are often difficult to trace. There are many possibilities to look for. The problem could be a loose connection, a broken hose, a cracked component, or a defective seal. It could also be a hole in the tub. If a hole in the tub is the problem, it's usually best to replace the washer. Most leaks can be eliminated by tightening water connections and replacing deteriorated components. To stop a leak:

Step 1: Check the lid seal. If faulty, replace with a new gasket.

Step 2: Check the hoses at faucet connections. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

Step 3: Check the hoses at water valve connections. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

Step 4: Check the drain hoses. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

Step 5: Check the inlet nozzles. Tighten connections or replace nozzles.

Step 6: Check the splash guard. Tighten connections or replace.

Step 7: Check any plastic valve. Tighten connections or replace.

Step 8: Check the outlet hose to drain. Tighten connections or replace hose.

Trouble with Indesit WI 102 washing machine

I had trhe same problem and was going deaf!!! I know this is probably too late for your machine but it may be usefull to someone else with this model.

Originally thought the bearings had gone but had great trouble trying to source some through UK websites so decided to strip the machine. Did this by touch (no manual!) and eventually found that the bolts holding the bottom weight to the drum had all come loose (all 3!). Trying to access them to tighten was the biggest problem as the front of the machine is welded on.

Managed the above by removing the rubber door seal from the door only and tightening two of the bolts from inside the door. The third I managed to access from beneath the machine. All were tightened using 10mm socket on a bar with extension (curtain pole!) slid over the end.

During this process I had the machine on its side, removed the securing brackets, top weight + springs and wedged the drum from beneath and the side as much towards the rear of the machine as possible to aid access.

Good Luck!

Loose drum!!!!

inner drum is tightened usually with a bolt thro the main pulley (sometimes a nut) but this is unlikely to be the problem. suspect you bearings have worn.
