Battery does not hold charge battery is good

How do you know the battery is good? Have you had a load test performed on the battery? Just because a battery reads 12 volts when using a volt meter doesn't tell you anything. You need to have the battery load tested. If it tests good, charge the battery to full charge. Put it in the bike and connect the negative battery cable. Using a good Digital Volt Ohm Meter that will measure amps up to ten amps. Set the meter up to measure AMPS. and put it in it's highest scale. Put the postive lead of the meter to the postive battery post. Put the negative meter lead to the postive battery cable that is disconnected from the battery. If you have a current drain, lower the scale range until you get a stead readable value. Then, disconnect the voltage regulator from the battery and read the current drain. Since you bike is ECM controlled, it will draw a little current but not over one amp.

Good luck

I have two wires going to my speakers for a 2007 silverado classic, brown & yellow? What is positive & negative

It doesn't actually matter unless the speaker is grounded on one terminal, however if you do get it backwards, you will have audio interference which may make things sound strange at times.
The general rule though is that the brighter color is positive, and the darker is negative.
This goes pretty much for any wiring system for speakers.

I have everything hooked up right and system was playing fine. then the blue power button started flashing and subwoofer wont hit. the orange thermal light is also on. how can i fix it?

If your subs are dual voice coil, they will be tricky if you're not familiar with them. If you wire them in series ( a black and red together) and bridging them on the amp, you might be overloading the amp if it is not capable to handle it ( 1 ohm stable). Instead of bridging, try parallel series on the amp. A positive and negative will be wired together. The other postive will go to the positive of channel 1 and negative to the negative of chanel 2.

Or wire the speaker in parallel ( black with black- red with red) and you can then either bridge them on the amp or on their own channel

I have been getting static from my subwoofer. I thought I had a blown speaker so I bought a new one. I hooked it up and there is still static. So now I have two good speakers. Anyway, I went through all my...

I have a similar problem, where a power surge zapped the power supply on the power section of my Velodyne DLS5000R recently. Probably a transformer or a capacitor in the power supply. Maybe the architecture of your amplifier is open and you can find it easily, but on mine, it's closed and glued where I can't get to it, and the only solution from Velodyne is to send it back for a replacement, at a flat charge of $230. Frustrating!

I have a Hifonics BXI1208d mono subwoofer amp but i have 2 sets of wire terminals and they go negative negative postive postive. Which do I use?

Depends if its bridgeagle or bridge internally. bridgeing provides the most power to a mono system. 2 positives and 2 negative you have a 2 channel amp. Heres a link to check out, you should be able to figure out your system and hook it up with this. Hope it helps.

Denon AVR-887 turns itself off in 5 secs, any one know why?

You might have the polarities on the speakers crossed, check all speaker connections to make sure the pos and neg are connected correctly. If they are crossed, this will cause the receiver to short out, thanks

Alpine type-r 2ohm dual voice coil help

try reconnecting your rca's from the deck to the amp when finished wire one speaker positive to positive on left channel and negative to negative on right channel then connect the 1st subwoofer. if all power and sound is fine and working turn off power to amp and connect negative terminal of 1st sub to positive on 2nd sub and positive from first sub to negative on second crossing the wires runs the speakers in series another way to try is parralel the speakers wiring by connecting positive left channel output of amp to positive on 1st sub same with the negative then splice positive to positive on second sub and same with negative.
