Hi , is it the Midi or Maxi XL model ? PG Controller (normally a silver colour ) has the following as the listed fault

There is a bad connection to the motor and the controller

If 's it a Rhino controller normally a blue colour ,

The battery is completely empty. The scooter does not drive.
• Recharge the battery immediately.
If the scooter is left off for a few minutes, the battery may recover enough
to allow driving again for a short time. However, driving on an empty
battery may cause damage to the battery.

I charged up the battery for my Auto go 550 mobility scooter over night the next day I went to use it and it wouldn't go. The battery light was flashing but it was only flashing on the red, amber ,and...

My AUTOAGO power chair was loaned to a friend that ran a daycare. She parked it for month between foot surgeries. One of her children likely moved the transmission lever to neutral. So even with fresh batteries all the lights on the battery indicator were flashing. I took to a shop and they showed me the lever. All is well now.

Hi there...I had not used my Hoveround MPV4 scooter for over a year and when I finally went to use it, the batteries were no good any longer as they would not hold a charge...so I just bought two brand new...

Hi Pam,
The new batteries should work right away. (Your old ones had gone solid from sitting for so long- charge the new ones at least once a week to keep that from happening, even if you are not using your power chair.)
You may want to check all of the connections to make sure they are tight especially on the battery posts, also make sure the fuses are not burned out. It's recommended to run the new batteries into the red (fully discharge) then let them charge for 8-12 hours to make sure the batteries get a full charge the first time out, but if you haven't done that, it should not cause any flashing lights.
You said that green lights were flashing (assuming on the controller); if all 10 bars (3 red, 4 yellow, 3 green) are flashing that indicates a poor battery connection. 9 bars means you need to do a brake reset. Check page 51 of your manual for controller light codes or check this link: http://www.pgdt.com/scenter/diagnostics/diagvsi.html
If you have any other concerns, let me know. Good luck!

Battery new cahrging good green light flashes

Hi. How many times does the light flash betwwen pauses? this is a fault code. Check free-wheel lever. Check motor and battery leads and connectors.
Check the resistance through the motor with a multi meter.
Good luck. Neil.

Scooter batteries will not charge. Green light on charger comes on briefly and fan tarts momentarily. Does green/yellow flash mean disconnection as indicated on the charger?

ok, this could be a dodgy connection with the batteries or the charger is at fault ?

1. try another charger
2. check the batteries if possible on another scooter.

3. check the connection on the battery and the charge socket connector.
