Our three-year-old Jenn Air JDB1100AWS dishwasher is not rinsing properly. It leaves a fine grainy residue on the dishes, especially the top rack, no matter what setting the dishwasher is on.
We have taken apart the dishwasher sprayer section and have cleaned the parts. The accumulator looks like it has particles clogging some of the filter sections. Should we replace this part? Or is there another approach we need to take? We have never cleaned the filter and don't know how to do this.

- I have the same problem with fine gritty residue on all the dishes and glasses. We had a Jenn-Air guy out who was worthless. The second Jenn-Air guy took the bottom assembly apart and cleaned it but it is absolutely no better in its performance. This is very frustrating and I am appalled that this can't be handled by two separate certified Jenn-Air technicians. What is the problem?- cbj03Best Solution

if your filter assembly is clogged you are going to need to clean it. if it is really bad then it should be replaced. the part number is 99003292 and would probable cost about $30. the other thing is start your dishwasher on a rinse cycle and see if you have suds in the bottom do not put additional detergent in while checking this. if you have suds run vinegar in the dishwasher to help get rid of the suds as that can cause the same problem.
