Insignia video 2gb mp3 player wont go to menu

Hi, i recently got an insignia video mp3 player when i turn it on it just says insignia and will switch to the hour glass and they will just keep switching. i tried the reset button but that didnt work. any thoughts thanks chris

Check on the setting display you might have it one 1hr shut can easily switch it to off for then your mp3 won't shut off..

just plug it into the computer with the usb it came with so it can charge.

Won't turn on

have you tryed sliding the power button until it turns on.. are you absolutly sure you charged it completly.. it takes 3hr to charge for comp.

Bright screen

First, did you try the obvious by adjusting the brightness in the player's options? Otherwise I don't think this is normal behavior and the player could be defective.

The file extension is usually *.avi on Insignia players. So try renaming the file.
