SOURCE: Adjusting screen on HD TV
I had the same problem. My cable company told me to press the # button on my remote to change it from "zoom" to "normal" and it solved the problem.

You should adjust the aspect ratio on your cable box. Depending on your cable company there should be an aspect/HD zoom button. If this does not work go into the TV settings using the "menu" button and try to find a reference to aspect. Make sure it's set to 16:9 normal vs. stretch. You can contact Total COntrol Remotes (www.totalcontrolremotes.com) for help with this kind of issue.

Is your sky or dvd box setup in 16.9 wide mode, same goes for your tv.
You should have a aspect ratio button on your remote, what equipment do you have?

Screen format option is available in Menu.

1. You could have a bad cable on the amplifier for that channel
2. the processor in the feeding that channel may be malfunctioning.
I am not familiar with this unit but all surround have the same basic principal to separate and compress sound to give the 3d illusion of realism. All this is processed at the central unit in the amplifier.
3. Your unit may need service at the component level or replacement of the main board is needed.
4. You also may have a problem at the gaming console * not sure if you are using a PC OR PS3 unit or Xbox.
I hope this helps.
