Use PC wizard 2008 and open the hardware and hardware driver for your audio and after searching or locating it find your cd installer and reinstall it or research it from the internet downloads.

Soyo monitor out of range

You have changed the resolution or refresh rate to a value that the monitor cannot support. This can be a problem to reset since you cannot see the monitor to correct the issue. Reboot into SAFE MODE (F8) key and change the resolution to a value that the monitor can support.

MY 20INCh SOYO MONITOR TURNS ON BUT LINES OF color appear

First check the connections, by upplugind the cord connecting it to your PC(on both ends if able). Then if still having issues try the monitor on another computer if you can. If the issue is only when connected to your computer then it is an issue with your video card and not the monitor. if the issue stays with the monitor no matter what computer you plug it into then the problem is with the monitor itself. If the cable that connects it can come off the monitor you can try a new cable but likely the monitor will need to be replaced at that point.

I need to buy a soyo pentium3 7vba133u motherboard. anybody have one to sell?

It is highly unlikely a Pentium 3 motherboard is available let alone a SOYO P3 motherboard.
Motherboards and desktop cases have standard mounting holes, I would suggest you buy a late model motherboard that suit your requirements and mount it in your desktop case. You need to be sure the ATX power supply is adequate power output.
Better still just buy a new computer, you don't need a buy a new monitor.
You can reuse the old hard disk and put it into an USB hard drive adapter case and use it as an external hard drive.

The system powers-up, but no video, or beeping sound heard. the cpu fan is turning. Soyo SY-P4I865PE Plus Dragon 2 V1.0

If you hear the windows chime during bootup then it will be a video problem. 1.) Swap the power cord from the computer to the monitor and vice versa 2.) If computer still working then try a different monitor, 3.) Replace the video card. Hope this helps, Best Regards, -md

24" DOA Soyo Monitor

What size monitor were you using before? If you were using a smaller monitor and everything was fine maybe this new monitor is out of range for the graphics card. I've found that not all graphics cards, especially older ones, will not run a monitor as large as 24 inches. If you can, connect this new 24 inch monitor to a computer with a more powerful graphics card. If it works then you will know that the problem is with your computer. Also connect your old monitor and go into control panel and see what range and resolution your graphics card will support. You may need a more powerful card to run the new monitor.

I am trying to connect an external monitor to my legacy PowerBook G4 laptop.  I have the original video adapter dongle that Apple provided, which goes from digital video to VGA.  I've tried different...

Since your laptop's display has a problem, that could indicate trouble elsewhere in the computer that is preventing you from adjusting your resolution properly. In fact, a shrunken display points more to a problem in the video processing, not in the display itself.

Monitor went black no picture no cable problem

remove the vga cable and see any display is coming up in your laptop like no connection or no signal

If not assume your monitor is gone so far from you, catch a new one and let it go

Thanks Hothawk

No input signal!

Try disconnecting your keyboard and switching the computer on again and see if the monitor comes on properly. If it does you have your problem. Then power down and connect keyboard back up. If it doesnt work then you may have to change the keyboard.
