Use PC wizard 2008 and open the hardware and hardware driver for your audio and after searching or locating it find your cd installer and reinstall it or research it from the internet downloads.

Lost installation cd for soyo sy-p4vga. Had to reformat and reinstall xp and now no audio or network.

After you reinstalled, you lost the drivers necessary for audio and network.
Visit this website, and reinstall the according drivers after selecting the windows xp operating system.

I have a Soyo MT NI DYLM 2086 and have bought a new computer. Do I need to download anything to insure that I get full screen / maximum clarity from the new computer?

The new computer will determine whether this is needed or not. If the computer is a 32 bit Operating System such as Vista 32-bit or Windows XP 32-bit then there is probably no need for any additional drivers. With some of the newer OS systems it may be needed, but there is little chance you should need to download monitor drivers for any system.

If you find that you are not getting complete clarity with higher resolution, in searching around for drivers for your monitor I have found it to be almost a dead end. I am seeing on the net that many people are finding it impossible to find newer drivers. So the alternate could be that you use some of the windows generic drivers to produce the resolution you are looking for and see if one of them works with your Soyo monitor.

My computer has no sound. How do I get a sound driver downloaded?

I will try to locate a driver for you, but please post me back your audio card model (if it is separate) or your motherboard brand / model (if the audio jack is on the motherboard) or your computer model / brand. Also post me back the operating system you use (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7)

Waiting clarification, don't hesitate to post.

My Soyo 19" TFT monitor Model:MT-NI-DYLM1998 comes on at power up but goes black after a few seconds. But on repeating turning power off then on again, the monitor comes on and then goes black again after...

Thank you for answering those questions. That usually indicates it has a bad power inverter. From what i can tell, that monitor is a few years old. You can attempt to find an inverter online to replace it yourself (usually about $50 if you can find one) since its no longer covered under warranty, or put that money into getting a new monitor.

My Soyo DYLM1986 won't come on and is clicking inside. I have rebooted the computer, disconnected & reconnected from the CPU & monitor. Can you reccommend anything to help? Cindy

Most common failure in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what goes wrong: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further.

SOYO DYLM24E6 DISPLAYS OUT OF RANGE WAS TOLD MONITOR HAS A RESET BUTTON IF SO WHERE OR IS THERE A FIX FOR THIS MONITOR IT IS NEW

Restart your computer in Safe Mode
(or reconnect your previous monitor).

Set the screen-resolution to 800 by 600 at 60 Hertz.
Shutdown, connect the new monitor, and restart, and your Soyo monitor will be able to display something, using these "NOT-out-of-range" values.

Try changing the resolution to 1024-by-768, or 1280-by-1024,
and "test' these values, to see what values are "in-range" for your new monitor.
