How to put a freon into 2011 Buick Lacrosse car?

Visit a local Autozone and purchase a R134-A charging kit. Comes w/1 can of 134-A and the connection hose needed for your vehicle and can. Follow the directions very carefully !!! Wear protection goggles, mechanics gloves, and be careful. Note: Engine must be running and AC must be on High Cool for the system to accept a freon charge.

Fridge/freezer not cooling but copper pipe near the compressor freezes up

If freon was needed at all, then your system must have a leak, it is never advised to add freon because of this. If your suction line is freezing up to the compressor shell, you are most likely over charged and the evaporator is flooded/saturated with freon and unable to cool/freeze properly. The freon should be added by weight or volume as noted on the model/serial sticker on the unit only, if the sticker is not present, than an experienced technician will need to charge by temperature/pressure using a set of gauges. Prior to charging, the system needs to be fully evacuated to ensure all non-condensables are removed from the system. Pleazer Appliance...

What happen if my refrigerator compessor is overloaded with freon

If overcharged during charging of Freon compressor will be stressed and cooling will affected. Charging refrigerators are very sensitive to overcharging because refrigerator's use very little Freon, only about 6 ounces. Symptoms of overcharging are high compressor amperage and difficulty cooling. Best to weigh Freon while charging and always use a new filter drier. Refrigerator's are also extremely sensitive to have even one drop of room air in the lines (sealed system)before recharging and require a long and perfect vacuum before recharging. Symptoms of air in the sealed system are compressor starting and then shutting down because small amounts of room air in the system cause compressor to strain bogging compressor. Air in the system will cause water droplets to freeze in the capillary tube causing a blockage that causes the compressor to stop and start again once the droplets thaw out. I will be glad to explain more should you have more questions, Thanks, Sea Breeze

On my BMW 325XI Wagon, the ac is not cooling, the drier, expansion valve, compressor & ac control module have been replaced. Starts to cool as low as 65 degrees & then compressor shuts off.

sounds like unproper ac evacuation before charging the freon to your ac system. do a proper evacuetion to the system check the ac compressor oil charge the proper freon & amount check the vehicle tag for the amount of freon under the wood close to the radiator

LG 1.5 Ton AC, Bought in May 2009. No water is coming out while AC is switched on. Cooling is not as expected.

hello there, You need to charge a freon thats why you cant get a better cooling, ask a technician to do the job for charging your freon, because charging a freon is not easy and you still check if the copper tube that connected to the condenser is have leak. thanks

How do mi check the freon

Refrigerators don't need freon added to them unless there is a leak and until you find and repair the leak you have not fixed the problem.

A lot of people think when their refrigerator is not cooling that they need to add freon. This is not normally the case 99% of the time. You are a lot more likely to have a defrost problem or a fan problem if your refrigerator is not cooling.

If you actually do need freon, call a reputable professional. There are a lot of guys out there that will just add freon because you told them it needed it, charge the heck out of you and then leave. Be careful about telling some jack leg that you need freon.

Heating does not start appears a light circle with am asterisk and small drop inside the circle ()art cool lg

possibly a freon charge issur, or thermistor problem, in the heat mode the indoor coil has to be a certain temp. for the fan to run, if it does not reach the temp because of a low charge or a sensor that is defective, could be more complicated but usally not. Note: if it is low on charge you have a freon leak that needs to be repaired.
