Question about Imperia Kitchen Appliances - Others

My Imperia(dal 1932) Model is not holding the ravioli thickness when running through the machine. How can this be fixed?

Where the side knob is that changes the thickness, you can turn the knob from 1-6 but the opening for the pasta to be rolled through doesn't change. It has worked fine in the past but is now slipping and not holding. Can this be fixed?

There are parts breakdowns on and you can probably email them to get the older model parts too. I know they have a lot of stuff in stock.

Spring assembly in Coleman on demand hws

Hi Neil, I think I've sat down for several hours trying to work out how best to fit the spring in so it actually works. It's really difficult and I suppose the factory has a machine that does it and I think it's possibly the hardest thing on the whole unit to get right. I've looked at Youtube and there isn't a specific fix to this problem. Firstly, holding the knob in your hand, the spring sits in the knob with the smallest prong of the spring placed in a "V" shape mold which is thicker plastic than the other protusions. I've tried the other suggestions from forums to no avail, so where I'm at now is I know that the thick jutty out bit on the side wall that's got metal over it and the longest prong of the spring, both get positioned in between the two plastic fins on the other round part ( not the knob) on the machine. I drilled a small hole in the outside wall of the knob closish ( I sometimes use words you won't find in a dictionary but you get the gist) to that thick protusion with the metal on it. That's for a small screw driver to keep the longer spring prong close the thick bit on the side wall. Using a finger to push/ lever the long prong around then stick the screw driver in to keep it there.Problem is that when I do this , the small prong of the spring comes out. Maybe if I silicone the small prong in place and leave it for a day ,that might secure it for the time needed or rig up something to hold the short prong in place. I just think that if I can get to that stage , I'll be able put the knob on / screw in the screw and pull out the screw driver then tighten up the final turns of the screw. This method might sound unorthodox but if it works, problem solved with only a small hole left in the knob

It needs either oil or the gear has slipped. A machine repair person, such as a sewing machine repair might be able to help you out for a small fee. Good Luck!

I have an Imperia Spremy electric tomato grinder machine and while using the machine I see that the sauce starts to come out black and I have to keep washing all the parts! what is the problem with the...

We have same problem. going to the store, they told us it is normal there is grease coming out but should not come out of in the sauce. They changed our motor but told us to lift the side of the machine where the sauce comes from. After few different tries, here is our solutions/ advices:
-lift the machine by putting the 2 feet on a pc of wood of 1 1/2"/ 2" height. That way, your machine will be angled having where the sauce comes out higher than where you plug the machine.
-change the plastic ring & rubber ring each year to ensure the thickness is good enough to seal/ hold the grease close to the motor pin area. To avoid coming in the sauce.
- while pressing the tomatoes the grid cones gets full of pulp which sometimes blocks a bit & makes the juice coming out partially with the
skin & seeds and maybe as well coming close to the motor which would mix with the grease. To avoid that: take a rigid plastic spatula and while making the sauce, scrape the accessible front cone grid w/ the spatula to clean it/ clear it. Every 4liters of sauce made, I remove the red slide to also scrape/ clean the back of the cone grid. All this is made without washing all pcs and it looks like we fixed our problem of grease in the sauce. We made 10 big tomato boxes in 2 days and we washed the pcs 3 times.
If I am not clear, let me know, I can explain w/ pictures!

I want to make ravioli in my pasta maker...

All the models of raviolis makers are not graduate identically...So I have the Kitchenaid ravioli maker and the #1 is the larger and the # 8 is the thiner. For the raviolis the best thickness is the #5 or 6 and all is perfect for me and delicious. Also here is what Kichenaid suggest for the thickness of the dough: If you do not own a KitchenAid Pasta
Sheet Roller, pasta sheets can be prepared
by hand. Pasta sheets should be rolled out
to a thickness of 1/16" (0.156 cm). Hop this help!
