Pride Jet 3 Ultra 4500 rpm, unit is completely dead, am I missing an auxiliary charger or is it built into the unit?

I suggest that you start with determining the condition of your batteries and work outwards from there. Dead batteries just don't want to take a charge. Test your batteries with a meter before you start part swapping. The internal charger is only about 4 amps so it will take many hours to charge a 24volt system.

Older Toshiba laptop runs on battery, but not AC cord.

on some older laptops the battery has to be installed for it to turn on.
if the battery don't hold a charge it's no good.. but you need it to get power from plug.

Laptop shuts off when AC adapter plugged in and my bettry is new

Try the laptop without the battery in it. If it will not power on just using the cord, then you know that the cord or the power inlet is bad.
If it works fine without the battery, then you'll know that either your battery is not good, the connection between the battery and the laptop is bad, or there isn't enough power reaching the battery connector.

OK-so our mac computer is roughly 1 yr. old and its worked pretty great for the time we have had it but,one yesterday i turned i tried to get on the computer and it wouldn't turn on so i jiggled the...

The easiest way to resolve this problem should be to reset the SMC - System Management Controller - which deals with how power is distributed to various parts of your Mac, including the fans.

How to reset it depends on what kind of Mac you have, though.

For 'desktop' Macs, including iMac and Mac Pro:

  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Unplug the computer's power cord.
  3. Wait fifteen seconds.
  4. Attach the computer's power cord.
  5. Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.

If you have a portable with a battery you cannot remove:
  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
  3. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
  4. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
  5. Press the power button to turn on the computer.

If you have a portable with a battery you can remove:
  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
  5. Release the power button.
  6. Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
  7. Press the power button to turn on the computer.
That should take care of the problem. Good luck!

Have not used my Garmin since January 2011. Sitting on shelf. Plugged in to my car charger and would not turn on. Would this mean it needs charged?

After three months, I'm sure the internal battery needs to be charged. But even so, it should work when plugged into the car charger. The first thing you should do is check that the charger cord is connected properly at both ends. Mine has a green LED on the plug. If yours does, make sure that light goes on. Try jiggling the connectors at each end of the power cord. If it still doesn't work, the next thing to try is replacing the power cord. (Maybe you can borrow a power cord from a friend). If the power cord isn't the problem, I'm afraid the problem is in the Garmin itself. Good luck.

It shows message as "turn on camera" while try to

Assuming your computer has a built-in iSight camera - which should be all Macs made since 2006 except for the Mac Mini and Mac Pro (not MacBOOK Pro!) - your camera

a) May not be being seen by the computer. Check Apple Menu > About This Mac > More Info > USB and see if "built-in iSight" is listed in the USB Device Tree. If it is, then it may be being used by another application that uses a webcam, like Skype, iChat, or what have you. If it IS NOT detected:

b) Try resetting your SMC:

Flashing orange light, third from the left on the front edge, left side. Just replaced the battery yesterday.....

I had same problem. PC wouldn't even start at all. New cord & battery.Computer repairman said- remove battery, remove electrical power (& unplug the cord from power source :) don't electrocute yourself), then press the start button for at least 30 seconds. I pressed it for about a minute. Replace battery & power, (don't forget to plug the cord into electricity again), and press start button. That resets something inside.
It worked!!!! I couldn't believe it. I almost gave it away before I called repair guy. Yikes. :)
