Question about Polaroid FLM-2632 Television

2 Answers

Polaroid FLU-2632 I have just bought this tv and connected it up. The first thing I found out was that I could not configure my sky remote with it. The second thing I discovered was then when I connected my Sky box throught the scart socket and activated it, the picture went a blue colour and not that when in tv mode. The third thing was that I could not get the screen to auto size itself with the program. I placed the tv into auto mode but this would not change the aspects of any of the sky channels. I have not got a clue how to solve these problems. Please can someone help.

I have tried 2 different DVD players one a blueray and the other a DVD upscalling player via the HDMI sockects. This TV is full 1080 HD ready and whatever I do It doesn't seem to work. I can only get a picture when I connect via the YPbPr but this is no good as is its not a Hi Def picture Could anyone please advise, its driving me nuts Thanks in advance

I had the same problem. It's caused by the picture setting on your Sky box. Go ibto Services, select Picture Settings and set the mode to PAL not RGB.

The aspect issue sounds to me to be related to the output of the sky box. If it is filling in the areas where there is no picture then the TV recognizes that as a picture and will not auto correct the aspect ratio.

I can't get tv to send sound to sound system

Having browsed the user manual I wonder if you plugged in the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System while the Polaroid FLM-2632 tv was powered down via the optical cable .
Then powered up the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System first and then powered up the Polaroid FLM-2632 tv
Maybe the Polaroid FLM-2632 TV has to detect that the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System is connected and powered up when the Polaroid FLM-2632 powers up. To activate its digital audio out ????
The note part about only being available only under HDTV (cable/air) mode. Might be the cause of your hassle also ?

Polaroid FLU-2632 LCD TV full HD 2 HDMI problem

You could try pressing the source button on the remote to see if that brings it up.

Also the TV may have got itself in a muddle. There will be a way to reset it to factory setting. If you can get into the TV's setup menu there ought to be an option buried somewhere to do that.

Polaroid FLU-2632 channel searching

Often when using a Sky box, one doesn't use the channel tuning feature of the Polaroid HDTV. Often one connects the Sky box to a component video input, and the Sky box does the tuning.

I hope that helps.
