just try the following..
connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)...

Hello c amoresir!
If you're Nokia E5 won't open, it could be either that your battery is defective or your phone system is defective. I suggest you to bring it to the nearest Nokia Center for them to figure out what went wrong with your phone. Again, thank you for using fixya. May you have a good day!

Hi sir/mam, this is revanth and am using nokia e5 phone from 1year and i updated my handset with nokia pc suite,, after one week my phone is getting switched off when i get a incoming call and doing out...

Updating cell phones does drains battery during the process espercially when not fully charged before the process . Get a new battery from an authorized Nokia vendor charge not more than 4 hours and see what happens.

Note: the new firmware am sure had an issue reading the right battery level state it is nothing much of a big deal.

All the best.

Nokia E5 dead

This problem occur seldom.Anyway have you tried by inserting other battery ? First of all Insert good battery (not new but you can fully charge your old battery with multi-charger) connect USB and press Power button, after just you press the POWER button a sound will hear in your PC if the set is OK.So, if you can hear the detecting sound, you yourself can solve it.Just Click here1 and follow the instruction.Or if you think that you could not do I can help via remote.Good luck

My nokia e5 does not start. i push start button and the power is not coming.

Check your battery , check the adapter voltage. Now connect the adapter to the phone and check the voltage at the battery terminals. Insert the battery and allow the battery to charge for few hours. if the battery/set gets warm it indicates that a charge is flowing .
If the phone does not trigger even after the set charges up or is warm, then it is possible that the mother board has damaged components, Get help, get estimate from Nokia care before you decide.
