Question about Computers & Internet
I've had this tablet for a few weeks, but the problem came up unexpectedly recently. The pen does not effect the pointer unless the nib is pressed right down ( and then it insists on auto-clicking everything it rolls over ) or the default scroll button is held down ( in which case clicking on anything is impossible ). As you can imagine, this makes using the pen tool impossible. My first thought was that it might be a low battery, but replacing it with new ones doesn't seem to have changed anything. I also tried replacing the nib and callibrating the Flicks settings, but it didn't work. Nor did reinstalling the drivers and the company's website offers no solution. Anyone have any idea how to fix it?
I don't know if you still have that problem and if you still need a solution, but I had recently had the same problem of yours.
My solution (I had even formatted the laptop) was writing to the perixx assitance and after a few mail they said they will send me a replacement without paying anything at all!
I think they should fix the problem, since it appeare to be recurring, but for now I'm satisfied of the custom service (very fast reply and as I've already said they don't charge me for any extra payment)
If you are intrested I'll let you know how it ends!

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hi, i browsed the Net in three languages to find the solution for this problem but nothing helped, then, accidentally, i bumped into the solution that helped me. I tried everything the same way you did but nothing helped. Since I use the russian version of Windows I do not know how these options might be named in english, but I think you'll understand. In Control Panel there is, as you know, the setup for pen and tablet input (with a picture of a pen) - in it there is a setup for Gestures (the middle one) - in it i disabled the gestures a long time ago. But today i tried turning it ON and went for training of these gestures (the option in blue letters at the very bottom) - and during the training my pen started hovering normally again after half a month of this problem. So I left the gestures enabled after completing the training and it still works fine. Hope it helps you,

Same problem here. Back in XP we found we could use another manufacturer's drivers (they apparently share some/all of the same internal hardware), but I haven't found any working alternatives yet (I have not tried them all). In 2006 someone posted: "YES! Adesso, Aiptek, Trust, Medion and another company are all distributing the same graphics tablet, just rebranded! So far, Adesso seems to have the most recent driver developments (version 3.09 vs. aiptek's version 3.08), so I used Adesso's (right from their website)."
If you find a solution, please let me know.
I'm also having a big issue with the pen's cursor flickering between two places (vertically-offset from each other, closer and closer together if I move it towards the upper left side of the screen). It doesn't do this in relative mode. Switching back to absolute caused it again, then I repeated the process and now it works, but the pen-area is not set properly, so I'm looking for the extra tabs which let me/us set the rectangle area for absolute mode.
