SOURCE: CE Code On 6 year old Calypso
Check the fuse on the motor control board and see if it is blown. If so, You could just have a bad board, but it may be a drive motor or pump motor. The most common thing is for the pump seal to leak into the pump motor and cause a short. The CE code means the 2 boards can not communicate with each other so be sure to check the wiring connectors between them. Post back with what you find out.

CE means communications error
If there is any breakdown in communication between the machine controller and the motor controller, "CE" flashes and the unit beeps once.
Some common causes of "CE" errors include:
·Conformal coating on serial communications pins between the machine controller and motor controller. After disconnecting power to the unit, try scraping this coating off the pins.
· Check the resistance values between the serial communications pins with the connectors in place. Make sure the harness does not have a bad connection.
· Check the quick disconnect at the motor terminal. The drive motor must be hooked up properly or a "CE" error will occur.
· Drive motor thermal protector has opened.
·Motor controller is not powered or fuse has opened. Replace motor controller.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
LE error in your LG front load washer is displayed when either the motor is not working or the control board thinks that the motor is locked up. A Hall Effect sensor is used in these washers which monitors the speed and direction of the motor and then forwards this information to the control board. Hope you understand by now that this LE error is displayed when there is an issue with the motor or when the Hall Effect sensor sends wrong signal to the control. Conclusion is you'll have to check both motor and hall sensor and replace the part# that is bad, usually I have seen the sensor going bad. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
