Question about Acer Aspire 6930-6771 Laptop
Not sure if this will help with that specific problem, but I recently upgraded the video driver in my Acer 6930-6809 laptop to the latest version available from Intel.
The VISTA driver (IntelGraphicsMediaAcceleratorDriver-winvista_188.8.131.528.exe) updates other media drivers as well as the video driver. My video driver after installing this media accelerator driver updated to ver 184.108.40.2068.
For Windows XP, the latest graphics driver is version 220.127.116.1109 (18.104.22.16809). Both versions are available from the Intel website downloads area at this URL -
You are not required to uninstall the old driver prior to installing the newer one. After the install, you will need to reboot the computer to activate the latest version of the drivers.
