I have a 2E511C heater that wont fire up but the spark plug is firing

You probably already know this . The 2E511C was manufactured by DESA for Grainger, so you must follow these Reddy Heater troubleshooting tips.

It sounds like the heater is not getting fuel or the fuel is not hitting the spark and you must troubleshoot and find out why.

My3e219c heater was working fine.turned it off then tried to turn back on and all it does is fan runs while it is sparking and sucking fuel but will not fire.

Hi, Try checking the fuel supply to this unit, sounds as though something has been picked up by the pump and it is not getting enough fuel to fire. If you have spark, and fan is running, the fuel is the problem. Check this out and let me know. You and I can go from there.

I have a Daton Fuel trimmer furnace for my garage.

On the thermostat see if it has a setting for fan on auto and off try turning the fan on then see if it comes on, if it does then it may be your thermostat has failed if it does not turn on then reset the circuit breakers to see if you have a breaker kicked off. If it was wired properly there should be one near the unit and one in the main breaker panel so be sure to reset both. To do this you must force the breaker switches all the way off then all the way on. On some breakers if you do not force it to the off position it will not reset the breaker. If this does not help let me know and I will try to help you some more just replay to the e-mail you get go to the bottom of the page and post add comment

Wat the hell is wrong with my dayton heater?170,000 btu oil fired...wont stay runnin?on shut down puffs like a mutha....

Most use a spark plug to ignite fuel it could need cleaning. You also could have water in fuel or dirt
check and clean ignitor/spark plug clean fuel line and nozzle, drain and clean tank Check for water in fuel by tilting unit to have a low corner siphon fuel from that corner after 1 hr inspect for water.

Does our heater have a reset switch

Turn power off at the emergency switch or breaker. You may want to test the safeties in the unit. Sometimes they pop and are not resettable and have to be replaced
