What is the very best way to video myself on my Droid cell phone, then send that video to, my agent, a casting director, etc?

Use your stock camera app to record the audio. Open your Google Drive app, you may have to download it first off the play store, and upload the video there. It will hold 15GB, so depending on length, you may be able to put quite a few videos on there. Once it's uploaded, hit the share button in the app and it should give you an option to copy a link for the video that others can use to access it. Just send that to the casting director, and you're good to go! Just make sure you don't then delete the video too soon, because as soon as you delete it, the link is dead.

If you need any further clarification on how to do this, add a comment to this answer and I'll see it.

Kodak Zi8 Digital HD Camera playback problem

I hope uploading new firmware would improve the quality of your recording: Connect the camera with the computer.
Turn the camera on.
Click onto the link and follow the instructions.
http://wwwuk.kodak.com/global/mul/service/downloads/DownloadLookup.jhtml?pq-path=15372/15504&product=EKN036561

If it can be of any help I did manage to find information on how can I eliminate noise during video recording on the Zi8:
Turn off Continuous AF (auto focus) to prevent recording camera noise during video capture. When you turn off Continuous AF, you may notice a narrower area of focus or depth of field, especially if you zoomed to a telephoto position before recording.
  1. Turn the Mode dial to Video, then press the Menu button.
  2. Highlight the Continuous AF menu, then press the OK button.
  3. Highlight Off or Single AF (certain models), then press the OK button. (On is the default.)
  4. Press the Menu button to turn off the menu screen.
This setting remains until you change it, change the Mode dial, or turn off the camera.

Good luck I hope one or both solutions will help the problem

Can't upload movie onto computer...HELP!

Hello JKelley,
When you connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable, wait for few seconds for the computer to recognize the new member.. Now check under "My computer" ... You will have a new drive letter that represents your camera.
Double click on the camera drive letter and open it up as you normally do with other drives .. You can copy the images or videos from the drive to your computers desktop.

Let me know if that was helpful and Do not forget to rate the solution as "Fixya" :)
All the best for your Presentation.

Thanks and Regards,
Srinivas.

Audio problem importing video from JVC GR-D320E

I think it might have to do with the upload process. It's a long shot but have you tried watching the video as you watch it? It may give the computer more processing time (time to clean it up a bit) before having to finalize. Some computers are just not up to date yet but if you have a mac it should work. The computer might need a few "practice runs" as well. Hope that helps.

I cannot upload my movies

well if the camera is miniDV, than u will have to capture the video with the panasonic software or any other capture software (u;ll need a firewire card (1394 card)).

if the recordings are on the memory (if any) than a simple usb transfer should do the job

Can't upload video on PC

the computer might not automatically upload the file. it will detect the hardware, but not necessarily start uploading. if you have xp, try going into movie maker which is in your program list in the start menu. on the left hand side there is a few blue sentences, one is import video, another is import video from device. if you have your camera connected to the computer through firewire and have your camera on the vcr/playback mode, open movie maker and click import video from device, the computer will have already detected your camera, so the first option your given in the next screen should have the make and model of your camera to upload from.
