Got you again.i have been waiting for your reply.this is what i posted in the last of our chat session.
"the manual does not lead to any safety fuse.So the control board might be damaged, or i guess should be replaced.the control board controls the display too.considering the other case with the door lock, it might be the interlock door mechanism which can be removed once the board is replaced and the machine starts to work,"
i guess you wont be charged for my chat session, but i feel its my duty to help you out as i started this.:).post your further comments here.will look forward to chat with you again.

Tip

F06 error code. Its not what you think

Had F06 error usually when the washer went into spin cycle. Followed all tips on different sights. No real concrete solutions to my problem. Sense my problem was intermittent I ruled out the motor. I started looking at my MCU and found my heat sink was really hot to the touch. I slipped MCU out of wash machine still electrically connected and put my window fan on MCU while operating and washer worked perfectly. I the went down to Radio Shack and picked up a 115v CPU fan ($20) and installed on my heat sink. Just splice fan wires to MCU power wires (wire connector w/ the 2 largest pink wires). Mount fan creatively to heat sink (tywraps, hot glue gun, however) . I saved $150 and the heartache down the road. I think this a common problem for that MCU. Hope this helped. <br /> Robert, Aircraft Technician

Hi i have a simpson esprit and I can't stop the

If the water continuously keeps filling the tub of the washer this would be due to either you have a bad pressure switch or the hose that is connected to the pressure switch that goes down the side of the unit and connects to the tub has either comes off its connection point or has sediment or debris inside the hose itself which would cause the same issue here is also a basic video of how the pressure switch test is done click this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZZ2bDMspj8 if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank this opinion when our chat has fully concluded it allows me to continue helping others in similar situations in the future. HI, I HAD TO UNCLOG MY PUMP ON A MAYTAG NEPTURE TOP LAOD WASHER TODAY, EVERYTHING WENT OK UNTILL I WENT TO FINISH AND I SAW THERE WAS A GREEN WIRE THAT WAS NOT HOOK TO THE PRESSURE SWITCH I DONT KNOW IF IT...

Hi SandI,

Your machine is a FAV6800A correct?

If so looks to be Cabinet Ground connection to unused connection on the pressure switch as the schematic shows. See attached schematic Pic. If you open up the rear console three # 15 Torx screws on the rear condole the schematic should be inside for your machine console.

I’ll try to take a pic of the connection I see on the pressure switch. From what I see no big deal to let it hang if this is the green wire in question. Do you see two green wires on the connector that is hanging?

Excellent DIY job on Drain Pump clog a tight work area for sure. I have a Sump Cap DIY Filter I made if you are interested I will post a pic. Stops coins and other items from working there way down to the pump impeller.

Here is a screen snap of the schematic showing the connection point on the Pressure Switch……Rich
