Question about HP OfficeJet 7410 All-In-One InkJet Printer
How do I clear a jam in the output bin? When I opened the back top, I can see the paper but can't get to it.
If your facing the printer with the top cover removed, on the left side you will see 3 sets of wires. closest to you is purple then red then farthest back is purple. the sensor in back with the purple wire is the sensor creating this error. either you have a paper jam or this sensor is unplugged or defective. i just replaced the fuser in mine and accidentally bent one of the pins to this sensor and got the same error. replacing the sensor from my old fuser fixed the problem

Try taking all of the paper out of the paper tray and try to pull it from the front of the printer.

SOURCE: paper jam
That part is the fuser unit and is hot if the printer is on. Here are instructions for you. Good Luck!
