Question about Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop Computer
I can't get my Dell Inspiron 530 to hook up to my JVC tv (model no:-LT 32DR7SJ), I was advised to change the resolutions to 1366 but that resolution isn't on there!
It sounds like your Inspiron 530 is using an Intel Integrated video adapter (the video adapter is the part of the system that runs the monitor) In this case, it is part of your motherboard. If your display properties do no list the resolution you need, then you will need to buy an upgrade video adapter.
You can buy an upgraded video card for your system (PCI-E x16 card, if your system is a 530s, then it will need to be a low profile card) and install it in the system. (The upgrade card will disable the integrated video, if your system has a low end PCI-E card, then the new one will replace it)

You will need to make sure that you have the right jack to connect it then make sure the your pc has a video adapter software when you connect the pc to the tower run the video adapter on your pc and you will see options you need
