The door on k.a. / whirlpool - hinge has a tab that locks rhe hinge and prevents the hinge spring from pulling door closed all the wayslightly lifting and continuing to close thw door lifts it off the hinge rest. Some models have set screws that need to be removed some require door disasembly some ge maytag frigidaire dcs wolf viking etc the door simply lifts off. The hinges stay attached to the app.and some have holes at the pivot of the hinge wherea 1/8 inch metal tabs or nails are inserted and door is ifted up and out....
(That is 1/3 of the job 2/3 is puting it back) lol
There are two pieces of metal that are inserted into the hinge slots on the body of the oven, the spring (upper) and the hinge. Before you can re-install the door, you have to clip these two together by laying the door handle side down and then using all of your body weight to push down on the spring arm, using gloves and a wadded up rag to soften the impact to your hands, and then clip the two pieces of metal together using the little hinged clip on the hinge piece and the slot on the spring piece. When you've clipped these together on both sides, lift the door and insert the metal pieces into the two respective metal slots on either side of the oven body. when they're in as far as you can push them, use a flat edged screwdriver to release the clip and close the door. Good luck, it may take a couple of tries and be careful of the spring, because it can snap back and hurt you if the clip comes off prematurely.

First thing is be careful them sprins are strong and will hurt your fingers bad if not careful. That said place both hinges in 1/3 open position they should stop there. if not put both all the way open then slide door back on and close. supposed to only lift off in 1/3 open position but whatever works.
easy to install the door, before to remove check it how exactly the position of the door its a clip typr,or get the manual to see the procedure, open the door, pull open then if u see the hinge we have small lock in the hinge u psh it up the lock then slowly close the door,be care bcoz the hinge is powerfull,if u close the door see the hinge how to remove the door.
