SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: I am unable to program

Not surprising, since cable remotes maybe older than the devices you try to control.

SOURCE: source code for a gpx tv

My only suggestion is to look up GPX on some remote control code sites. I have not heard of GPX as a brand name but I bet it has a parent company that is more recognizable. Most remotes have an option to them to do a manual search which makes you go through all known codes to find it.

I need the codes to program a magnavox tv with built in dvd player with this remote

Your universal remote should have a code search feature that allows you to search through its library to find a code or codes that will work. You might need two separate codes for the TV and the DVD player.

Hi MiMi I attempted to search for the Code for your TV under several of the Rogers remotes and was unable to find one. You can do a general search for a code on any of them following some minor instructions. Navigate to link , choose the remote that looks like yours and then to the left will be choice to search all possible codes. Hope this helps. Good luck Rogers Cable Remote Support

Unable to control volume to the receiver with my universal remote

There has to be another code for this then. Remotes have a way of manually programming them by going through all available codes known and not just the listed code that is supposed to work. I would follow the instructions for that method to find the proper code.

I need the code list to program my big button remote. My brand of TV is Insignia

Big Button remote control have pre-programmed with 3 digit codes. There are no code for Insignia tV with it. Codes for this TV are:

0103 0189 0217 0135 0133 0116 0167 0456 0029

Anyway try a code search method. Some times, ti might help you.

Code Search
If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

Setting up for cox cable

Try this:

Searching the Code Library
(Program Code 9 9 1)
1. Turn on the device.
2. Press and hold SELECT and the appropriate mode key (CBL, TV, VCR, or AUX)
until the mode keys blink twice. For example, to search for a TV code, press and
hold SELECT and TV at the same time.
Note: If you reassigned mode keys, you may, for example, press SELECT and
VCR to search for a TV code to assign to the VCR mode key.
3. Press 9 9 1. The mode key you selected in step 2 blinks twice.
4. Point the remote toward the device, and press . The remote automatically tests
each code in its library, beginning with the most common codes. The mode key
blinks once each time the remote transmits a new code. The mode key blinks twice
when it reaches the last code.
5. As soon as the device powers off, press SELECT.
6. Verify the new code is correct by pressing POWER.
7. Did the device power on again?
• If yes, press SELECT to assign the code.
• If no, complete the following steps:
a) Turn the device on.
b) Press or to step forward or back to the correct code.
c) When the device turns off, press SELECT to assign the code.
8. Go to Which Code Worked to identify the code that controls your device. After you
identify the code, record the code in the space provided on the cover of this guide.
