Question about Siemens HF87950GB Convection Microwave Oven
When power is applied, top display illuminates and the fades after approx. 10 secons. Bottom display then reads ER4 - I think this means Error number 4? No fans work and the oven appears dead apart from a the ER4 message. The manual says that ER4 is a temerature sensor fault, but I'm not sure where this would be located in the microwave. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Exactly the same problem over here, but after our house was hit by lightning, so not really surprised about the cause of the problem. If you look closely, you can still see the displays on a very low light level. I can still choose a microwave program, turn the time etc, and see the time changing, but start won't just just work.
