I need help anyone... please help... i have IBM Motherboard NET VISTA Intel Processor 2.66Ghz. with HSF 512MB RAM DDR1... is it good for 3D or MMORPG gamings? like world of tanks, Red alert 3. and mo

Hello you need to add more memory, at least 2 gb, to run these games.

If the mainboard has built in graphic, add a better graphic card on the mainboard.

The ram modules cost about 100 dollars each, and the graphic card aswell.

A computer repair shop can help you with that.

Good luck

I have Wolfdale 1333-D667 motherboard which Supports Dual Channel DDR2 667/533 memory. Can i upgrade it with a DDR3 Graphics card?

atlantisshak, you can use a graphics card with ANY graphics ram memory.

A graphics card has it's own Processor, and graphics memory.

Doesn't depend on the system resources, ( Processor and Ram Memory)

GPU = Graphics Processing Unit, the graphics card's processor,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPU

Doesn't matter if you use a graphics card, that has GDDR3, or GDDR4, or GDDR5, graphics ram memory.

I do however, recommend using a PCI Express graphics card based on the 2.0 technology. (PCI Express 2.0), and NOT the PCI Express 2.1 technology.

Could have problems.

{ ALSO;
Make SURE you,
1) Windows running on the computer, install the graphics card's Installation Disk. (CD disk)

AFTER loading the graphics card's 'Control Panel', and drivers,
DO NOT RESTART.

Close all windows, go back to the desktop screen. Shut the computer down normally.

THEN unplug from power, AND follow Anti-Static Precautions.
Physically install the graphics card. Plug the monitor into the graphics card. Close the computer case.

Plug the computer into power. WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer on.

IF you do not, you stand the chance of driver conflict.
To explain;

When a device (Such as this graphics card), is installed on a computer, Windows 'break it's neck' to find suitable, matching drivers.

If THE drivers are not there, Windows will match up one of it's
THOUSANDS of generic, one size fits all, drivers.

This = NO.
Could cause a driver conflict.

Windows: " Which drivers do I use? These or THESE?"

[ If you install the graphics card FIRST, THE drivers are NOT there.
Then you go back, and do install the drivers, there may be a driver conflict ]

Drivers:
Small pieces of software that allow the Operating System to communicate with a device.

Some O/S examples are Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
The graphics card is an example of a device.

[ When you put the Installation Disk in the optical drive's tray, and close it, the graphics card's software will come up. Go for the option with the 'Control Panel', AND drivers.

Example; For an ATI Radeon graphics card, the 'Control Panel' is ATI Cataylst Control Center ]

Graphics are slow and choppy on a powercolor 1650pro 512 megs of video ram.Starts out fine, graphics are beautiful but af ter a minute of gameplay bogs down and becomes hesitant and choppy.

512 mb of video RAM may not be adequate for some games. There could also be an issue with how much general RAM you've got on the board.

Hope that's helpful.

I hav a nvidia 8400gs graphics card how can i increase its size 1. by sharing it with hard disk 2.by sharing it with ram 3.what are the effects of this procedure?

upgrading your video card. There are probably only two basic reasons to upgrade a video card: 1. Your current card has poor performance.or You just "want" faster video performance.
If you think your current video card is performing poorly, there are a couple of things you should do prior to upgrading your video card. The first thing your should do is give your computer a "tune-up". This involves things like running Defrag, Scandisk, virus checkers etc. (for further explanation of tune-up procedures, .
Once you are certain that your computer is performing properly, and your computer is still experiencing slowdowns in video intensive programs, like games or graphic design programs, then the second thing you may need to do is upgrade your computer's main system memory. Inadequate amounts of system RAM will choke your computer's performance. That's why I recommend all newer computers have at least 512 MB of system RAM.

Graphics card

You can try running the game in another mode. I had a similar problem playing WOW but I fixed it.
Here's how.
1)Create a desktop shortcut of the exe file of the game.
2)Right click on the shortcut and click properties
3)In the target field you will see something like "C:/Program files/teamfortress/tfrotress.exe"
All you need to is click it and move the cursor to the end give a space and type -opengl. It would look something like this
C:/Program files/teamfortress/tfrotress.exe" -opengl
If it doesn't work try
C:/Program files/teamfortress/tfrotress.exe" -direct3D
One of these modes gotta work. My money would be on opengl. If it still doesn't run then try updating your graphics card driver and try again.

Hope this helps,
Sai.

Hi i have a asus P4s533-mx and with a 3GHZ processor and with a geforce6600 (agp) and the games tend to freeze and i have to reboot my system?. any help please

It is the video card. Newer games are so graphic intensive that they freeze up the system if there is not enough video memory. You could try upgrading RAM but I had a problem running newer games until I installed a graphic card that had at least 512 mb video ram onboard. Hope this helps.
