Maybe is 115 to 125 watts.but if want to see the true wattage of your unit ,look at back of your tv set then read the label the tv ,you'll find the true voltage and the wattage of your unit.

I have a Sanyo Microwave EM-2500T, serial number 508650448 and I need to know the maximum wattage of it please. It was given to us second hand 23 years ago and is still going strong!

Hi Alison!

Wow. That microwave certainly doesn't owe you anything. Nice work on 23 years.
While not able to come up with the exact specifications or owner's manual, I would guess that 850 to 1000 watts would be pretty close to the number for your unit, especially if it's running on a 15A breaker.

Sorry I couldn't have been of more help.

How can I find out how many watts my System Model DA238A-ABA 6450NX NA910 use in 1 hour? (compaq prisario)

Power Supply - 200 Watts

That is the supposed Maximum Wattage the computer will use per hour.

Variables come in to play, however;

1) Back when the computer was made, the Power Supply manufacturers were 'fudging' the real maximum rated Wattage.

True ratings were more like 60 to 70 percent, of what was actually stated.

Divide 200 by ten; take it times;
6 for 60 percent. 120 Watts
7 for 70 percent. 140 Watts

So, the Actual Maximum Rate Wattage, could be as little as 120 Watts, or a little more than a 100 Watt light bulb.

2) Second variable is what is the computer being used for?
Surfing the internet? About 100 Watts.

Playing an intensive game, (Yeah right. Not on that computer), or using an intensive program?
Then, you may be using the Maximum rated Wattage,
120 to 140 Watts.

So,........the hourly wattage rating, could be as low as 100 Watts per hour, or perhaps up to 120 to 140 watts per hour.

Also include the power used by the monitor.
If you do not have the specifications of the monitor, see if you can look them up online.

My HP 2009M uses 47 Watts, (2 Watts when in Sleep Mode),

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824176112

My other monitor I use (Dual monitors), is an RCA 26 inch HDTV,
(RCA L26HD31)

Uses 82 Watts,

http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/rca-l26hd31/4507-6482_7-33346932.html

(And the power supply for my computer is 500 Watts.
Hmmm,............no wonder the little wheel spins so fast in my electric meter! lol!)

Add the two together to get a basic conclusion, of what Wattage per Hour your computer system is using.
Don't forget to include printer/scanner/fax machine/copier, WHEN being used.

For additional questions please post in a Comment.

The calulation of max wattage is going to be 750 watts at start up and be around 500 on normal running wattage after start up so a 1100 watt generator should be fine.

I'm in Europe where the voltage is 220 instead of 110-120. I need a transformer to use the fan but was wondering what wattage is required.

Hi elinorkim...
To find out what wattage transformer to use you must do a little math.
Multiply Amps times Volts = Watts...this is the least amount of watts you want to use, the more the better...higher wattage will make the transformer run cooler and last longer.
Look on the side of your fan for a tag that has this information on it.

N15232 motherboard wattage help

the power supply wattage rating is MAX wattage, not constant wattage. the power supply only outputs the amount of power that the rest of the computer calls for, and no more. if yor computer only needs 200 watts, that is all that will be sent from the power supply; even if it has a max rating of 600 watts, it will only send the amount of watts which your computer calls for.

Wattage

The output power for model MA-780 was 700 watts, so I'd bet yours is either 600 or 700 watts.

12 volts plug in for my TV

Sure. These are called power inverters. Here's a link to one that should work. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=422932&CatId=237 Make sure you look at the wattage rating of the electronics you wish to run on the inverter and make sure you don't exceed that wattage rating on the inverter. You can get larger inverters but they have to be usually hardwired into the battery system of your vehicle.
