Hi
I have a Leadtek TV Global 2000 connected with on board cd audio, everything worked great, but since I upgraded from on board sound to Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme Audio Bulk PCI card, I can't get sound on WinFast PVR2 that my TV card uses.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Yes, you can. This sound card is great, but this card WON'T work at all with any DOS games. And the 'legacy emulator' which is supposed to make it work with DOS applics doesn't work, even though it installs properly with no conflicts. But for everything else, like Windows games (e.g. Doom II for Win 95, Croc, Half-Life, etc), Windows apps, MP3s, CDs, MIDI, etc, this card is great. There is no problem, and MIDI music sound so realistic and good, especially when compared to some 16-bit sound cards.

Cannot render audio capture stream

On the "Audio Settings" in the Life View software, at the "Audio Input Source" on the drop down arrow, select "None". This settings will use the internal PCI Bus for listening and recording TV. The audio loop back cable in this case is not needed anymore.

Philips SAA7130 TV Tuner/FM Radio/Video PCI Capture Card problems

Have you checked the installation? - most PCI capture cards use the audio card of the PC for sound. A jumper cord is needed to come out the capture card and into the audio line-in jack. Green jack on the capture card is OUT, and the Blue jack on the sound card is Line IN.

Asrock board might use standard Intel audio drivers, go to:

http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloadindex

and use the Live Update online featere to see if it can identify the necessary drivers, it doesnt matter what brand motherboard you have MSI sually have alot of drivers, you might get lucky

Hi, try logging onto the manufacturers website, click on download & support. Locate your mobo number and see if there is a Vista Driver. There may not be one available yet.

If there is not then purchace a PCI sound/audio card [realitively cheap] and install that. Just make sure that it is Vista compatable before buying it.
