My camera will not turn on.

I tried the first solution, but it still won't turn on. I had it in my backpack for a few days, and now it won't turn on. The battery is fully charged and everything. HELP.

Speak to Sony. Damp is a possibility which could have killed it.

I have a kodak digital camera and I had it in my backpack bag with a icepack .

If the icepack caused condense in the camera, the moist can have damaged the electronics.
Try drying it in a bag of rice and before you continue, charge the battery. If it does not work, start saving for a new camera. Sorry.

My Lumix DMC-LX5 camera won't turn on

Things to check first for a camera that won't turn on are battery contact points, and micro switches that are located on the battery and memory card doors. Troubleshooting tips on other things that need to be checked may be seen here. These tips won't work for every case, but they're worth a try.

I Dropped My Camera In The Water for a Few Seconds And I Tried To Turn it On And It Doesn't Work Its a Nixon Touch Camera

Hi, Sounds like you may have fried the camera by trying to turn it on, your best bet would be to put the camera in a bag of rice for a few days to see if that'll dry it out, if after that it won't work still the camera's unfortunately dead.

My Kodak EasyShare C180 10.2MP Digital Camera is less than a year old and suddenly won't turn on. I thought the batteries were dead so I replaced them...twice...and tried changing the direction around...

Lcd reads system error

Apparently often related to a lens motor malfunction. My old 4300 just gave this error for the first time today. The lens extended but made a whirring noise before the message popped up. Nothing I tried would fix it - but after I drove home it worked fine again.

I had a similar problem over a year ago after the camera fell out of my backpack (it was in its own bag but not well padded). When I used it the lens stuck and refused to retract, but I don't recall a "System Error" message. After a few tries, the lens went in and it's been fine since, until today.

Make sure there's nothing (dust, dirt) stuck in the lens barrels. Otherwise, just keep turning it on and off and hope it works.
