Question about Sony MHS-CM1 HD AVC Camcorder
I plug the charger in the port under the words "DC in" and the Orange light for charging lights up but when i wait a bit I open the screen and hold the power and it doesn't turn on. Please help because my friends and I created a youtube account and filmed videos on my other camera then that broke and this is the only other video camera in our house. Please help ASAP

There is a firmware update available for your Camcorder at this link http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=MHSCM1&SelectOS=7 Download and follow the site instructions for installing it. The high capacity memory stick PRO is probably beyond the current camera's capacity to recognize and the firmware update should fix it.

It is possible to recover deleted videos as long as the space they occupied on the hard drive has not been recorded over.
There are many excellent video recovery programs on the market today. My favorite is UndeletePlus by TouchStone software available at the site below. It is easy to use and very thorough.
