Question about Compaq Presario CQ56-115DX Laptop
My computer was cting up by not being able to get on aol now it running in safe mode
Start in safe mode with networking, and download MALWAREBYTES at :http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/. Install, BE SURE TO UNCHECK THE PRO TRIAL IN SETUP, You want the Free version, Run a FULL SCAN, depending on the size of your HDD it could take hours, DELETE ALL RESULTS. ALSO download CCLEANER free at: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/. This program will clean the junk from your system. In TOOLS, STARTUP, you can disable the programs unnecessary at startup. Remove ALL TOOLBARS from your broswer, they, at best, slow your broswer down. If you Don't have another broswer, consider downloading FireFox, Google Chrome...etc. As a alternative to IE. ALSO in safe mode run your Up-To-Date AnitVirus Full Scan.I assume you are connected to the Internet? You didn't give much info to work with. Respond to post. Your OS? What was it doing? "my computer was cting up"?
