I need detailed instructions on how to connect a wii console to an asus vw266h monitor

I have the wii cable that has one end with a red, white and yellow plug-ins. The other end plugs into the wii machine. Everything works fine on the TV. However, I do not know where to plug these ends into the Asus monitor. When I plug them into the same colors on the monitor and then switch to component mode, the monitor tells me "component no signal". I may be confused. The top row on the monitor has red, blue and green plugs and the bottom row has orange, white and red plugs. I don't know appear to know where these plugs should go. Can anyone please help?!!

You need to get another cable for that WII that is for HD. It has 5 connnectors on it. The red and white are the sound, the other three are for the video.

I'll bet your Wii plugs connect to your ASUS monitor as follows: red to red, white to white and yellow to orange (sic). Don't plug anything into the top row (red, blue, green)

SOURCE: NO SIGNAL PROBLEM

Please check whether the monitor is set to the correct settings. If you feel its incorrect, most LCD/TFT monitors come with an auto set up button which will restore the display to one that usually works. In case it still doesnt work, you might need to connect your pc to a different monitor and check the display settings. You could also try to download the drivers for this monitor and then re-connect the monitor and see if it works.

Connect a Wii to VCR

Hello
Take the Wii's audio/video cable and the power cord and hook them up in the back of the Wii.
Take the Wii's audio/video cable and plug it into the 'audio-in and video-in sockets on your VCR.Make sure you match the cable colors with the input colors.i.e white goes with white, yellow with yellow and red with red.
Take the RCA cable which looks like the picture below,

1_22_2012_6_55_20_pm.jpg
and plug one end of this audio/video cable into the 'audio out' and 'video out' ports on the VCR.Make sure the cable and ports colors match.
Now take the other end of the RCA cable and plug into the 'audio in' and 'video in' ports on your TV.Again make sure you match the color connections.

Hope it helps.

I cant connect my wii to my tv. can you give me instructions how?

Most TVs have a yellow video and a white audio and red audio input. The Wii comes with a cable to connect to a TV with a yellow, white and red RCA cable. Plug in the large block end of this cable to the Wii (rectangle block) and the other end into the TV using the yellow plug to the yellow input jack and the white plug to the white input jack and red to red. Select on the TV using the TV remote, the input where the Wii is hooked up. This is the standard way.

Yes, you can hook up both a Wii and an Apple Computer to this LCD TV. You may need to purchase adapters depending on your Apple Computer's output. This LCD TV has ports for: HDMI, D-sub, Component (YPbPr) input, audio input, SPDIF audio output, and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

How do i connect my wii to my tv

There should be a cable that plugs into the back of the Wii. At one end of the cable will be 3 RCA plugs, one Yellow one Red and one White. You need to find the inputs on your TV that have those three colored plugs. Yellow is Video and Red and White are stereo audio. TV probably says "A/V in"

We have sound but no picture on our Wii

Connect a DVD player using red white and yellow to the TV if you get picture and sound, then reconnect the wii red, white, and yellow to the same input.

If only the wii does not show video you will need new red white, and yellow cables. I would try a friends red, white, and yellow cables first even to their TV where their wii is already working.

If new cables are not working you will need to contact Nintendo as there is an issue with your wii. You can't change the wii video to progressive without a component kit, and since you have yellow you obviously don't have a component cable for the wii.
