Apart from using the Add/remove feature in the Control Panels, you can use an uninstaller program.

I bought my printer an hp 3050 wireless printer and mistakingly insatlled the wirelss part of it. I would like to uninstall it but can not find out how to do it. Can you helpme.

Hi there!
(For Windows only) To switch the type of connection from wireless to USB conn you can do these steps:
-Click on START or the orb looking window icon on the lower right hand corner of your computer screen. -Click on Programs/All Programs -Click on HP (just the HP folder) -Click on your HP model folder (HP deskjet 3050) -Click on Add a device. It will ask you to select the connection type -Select USB. It will then ask you to connect the USB cable and wait until you see a Congratulations page to make sure that the product was installed successfully -Try to print a test page.
Uninstall from All Programs -Click on START or the orb looking window icon on the lower right hand corner of your computer screen. -Click on Programs/All Programs -Click on HP (just the HP folder) -Click on your HP model folder (HP deskjet 3050) -Click on uninstall.
Uninstall from CD -Insert the CD that came with the printer -when you see the main Installation Menu click on Uninstall
Uninstall from Control Panel -Click on Start -Click on Control Panel -Click on Add/Remove Programs or Programs & Featurs or Programs -Look for the HP programs listed (listed alphabetically) -Click on the HP Program you want to remove and click on Remove or Uninstall
*It may ask you to restart the computer so it would be better if you will save importand documents before uninstalling
Hope this helps!

My HP Deskjet 6940 printer will not print. I have done nothing to make it quit. The paper in the tray is there, no ink problems, and I am getting very angry. I need an answer but every link I have tried...

If you have an installation disk for your printer. Close all running programs first. Click on start>control panel>programs and features (win 7, Vista ) add and remove programs (XP) A list of all the programs will appear. Find the printer program and left click on it.Then click on the uninstall tab.The menu will ask if you want to change the program or uninstall?Click on uninstall.
Uninstall the printer and then reinstall software, make sure the printer is not hooked to the PC until the install disk asks to connect the printer to the PC.

That is the problem. How do you uninstall it? Because the Manual doesn`t give any information as to how it`s done.

Uninstalling depends on several things.
If you used "Add & Remove Programs" to install (some programs automaticly register with "Add & Remove Programs") you can just go to "Add & Remove Programs" and choose "Remove Program"
If that option isn't available, look in the programs folder for an uninstall program (often listed as "unwise")
If neither of these work you'll have to do a manual uninstall. This takes some advanced understanding or the operating system to do without risking messing up the operating system. You'll need to delete the program(s) manually then use the registry editor to remove the references to the program. Be sure to back up the entire system first and then the registry before beginning (one bad key stroke can corrupt the entire OS).
Note: I didn't give step-by-step instructions on the manual uninstall because if you don't already know how you shouldn't try.

My scanner stopped working. hp solution center says that the device installation is not complete. i have a hp photosmart 3210 all in one. it was working the last time i used the scanner.

You probably need to uninstall and re-install the Latest Drivers for your printer

To uninstall you can do it from the Software disk you recieved with printer.
Insert the Disk in CD ROM and Click uninstall from HP Printer Menu

OR If you dont have the disk, you need to manually uninstall the Software
( Disconnect the USB cord before uninstalling )

Click START - Open Control panel - Add/remove Programs ( XP ) / Or Programs and FEatures ( Vista/Win 7 )
you will find list of HP Programs installed..

Choose one by one and uninstall these programs
1. HP Customer participation program
2. HP Imaging Device and software
3. Software and drivers for Photosmart 3200
4. HP Solution Center or HP Director
5. HP Image Zone ( or Image Zone Express / HP Photosmart Essential )
6. HP Update
7. HP Printer Drivers/Diagnostic Drivers
( after every Uninstall you will be prompted to restart the PC, you will find an option [ Click here to restart later ]. click on it and restart the PC once you completed uninstalling all the above programs )

Once you have uninstalled - click on this link to download the latest drivers by choosing your operating system

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=439488&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us

Save this File on Desktop an run it

Go into Windows Explorer and where the program is for the printer, you will find the uninstall part of the program. It's probably listed under drive C:\ programs.

Cannot uninstall Lexmark Fax Solution.

Go to www.download.com put in Revo uninstaller in the search box. select the program for download and download it. Run the program. The window will come up and show all installations on the computer. Pick the program you want to get rid of. select program and click uninstall in the header, the program will initiate the programs own self installer first, when it is done or if it fails, Revo will continue with the uninstall. Make sure to choose option (4) when prompted with the type of removal you need. if prompted to restart windows after the uninstall, ignore and continue with the Revo program. Click next when it is highlighted by Revo and select all when prompted to delete files. Revo will prompt you when it has finished, just say yes to all files to delete.

Won't uninstall

Download the "cleanup utility" from dell website and run it. It will remove all traces of dell printer software from the system. Once that is done you can reinstall it.
