Wifi Keeps Dropping

Dropouts are usually caused by the modem itself and not so much the wifi unit in the laptop. Next time it drops out, try resetting the modem router first. If this fixes it immediately the problem lies there. Next is to identify what wifi card you have in your system. You can find this in Device Manager. Then go to the original manufacturers website and see if there is a later driver for your card. If so, download and install it from there and not the Asus site. Sometimes the laptop manufacturers are a bit slow in keeping individual 3rd party drivers up to date.

Netflix login

There could be multiple reasons, but you list no other details.
Sometimes your computer cache is too full and you just need to clear an offline data. Both your computer and your website browser can do this for you.
Sometimes your internet speed is too slow. If you are trying to watch it in HD you can drop down to regular speed. If this is still a problem then you need a faster internet connection.
Lastly, it could be a problem with your Netflix account. If the administrator set up a password for videos rated adult there may be a block. You will need to enter a pass code to watch it.

Slow loading

It must be the problem with your internet connection or with your service provider. Sometimes your internet speed drops because of the maximum number of users using bandwidth on single back end providers IP, which is shared for all users. For that there are some points that can help you attain your loading speed:

- Refresh your internet connection
- Shutdown your router for minimum 10 minutes so that your back end IP can be change by service provider
- Remove your Temporary files from your system
- Try to use Reginout for constantly refreshing internet connections

Internet to slow

Problem can either be due to your browser or service provider. Sometimes your service provider is throttling bandwidth in peak hours that results in speed drops. So I would suggest you to follow these tips to maintain your internet speed:-
'' Disable background running services & programs.
'' Remove extension of browser.
'' Clear history & cache.
'' Check your preferred DNS address.
'' Optimize internet setting with reliable program to increase it (must use PC Fresher for it.)
'' Turn off router for 5 to 10 seconds, then turn on it.
'' Restart PC.
Best of luck

My internet connects slows (211kbps) and drops off completely. AT&T says it's inside the home. Anyway to check the modem? I have unplugged and restarted it several times

More likely your telephone junction box outside your house has a bad wire connection - I've experienced the same problem before for my DSL. In addition, sometimes my phone line would go out as well - no dial tone. Listen to your phone and check if you have a dial tone when the Internet connection drops out - they may be associated.

Slow speed, slow connection, drops connection

You need to contact your service - DSL cable - company to check the ping rate between your modem and there server. Typically this happens when they are working on, or upgrading there servers. They know what the ping rate should be and can fix it from there end

Slow to connect to any webpage and at times drops

has nothing to do with the laptop its your internet connection, you may have exceeded the monthly download limit in which case your internet company will halve your speed and if you continue to download stuff they will cut you off, thats probably the most likely thing assuming this info is relevant to you
