Question about Starbucks Barista Burr Grinder
Sold by Starbucks about ten years ago, now it won't grind. I know the thing is dull (13 years old). I'm trying to squeeze some more beans out of it if I can. The motor works fine, but I've been using real oily beans lately, I do have a back-up. What can I say I'm a coffee drinker and I live in the NW. Only thing on it for ID is TYPE EL 60 and is AZB 60 011252

The drive mechanism from the motor to the burrs has failed in some way. It is necessary to disassemble the machine down to the basic components to determine the fault. Good luck!

Here is a link about a person who had a similar issue. It doesn't answer your question yet but I am searching. When we were looking for a coffee maker last year,I think at BB&B they said that DeLonghi makes all Starbuck's coffee machines. We were disappointed with the DeLonghi.I am checking around to see who makes it though, and possibly an image so I can see better what you mentioned.Greg Will reply again when I find something more.
