Hi alimon_vm,
Click on the link below for the Intel motherboard D845GBV.*+XP+Home+Edition&lang=eng&strOSs=45&submit=Go%21 Choose your operating system.
(For windows XP systems)
Scroll down to number 12. Click the link below to open the manual.
You will need Adobe PDF reader to view the manual. If you do not have Adobe, click on the next link. Download & install Adobe.
The manual will show you how to connect your devices & set the bios settings. (This is a must needed item for connecting MB & devices). If you never installed a motherboard into a case before, suggest you check out a uTube video of how too!.

uTube can help you install just about anything. Video is a must if this is your first install & need the finer details.
Good luck alimon_vm!

I have Intel 845GBV motherboard & have external LAN card of D-llink, modem & LAN cable which all are in working condition. I also have the LAN drivers installed, but I can't able to connect to...

you might have put in the wrong password or user id check to make sure you have put these in correctly first make sure the caps lock is on/off what ever applies to your user and password id that you provided to your ISP
also check all leads and connections make sure they are not faulty and have secure connections
you will have to open up your network connections click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled or you could click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager look for network adapters + expand Ethernet driver if you see a yellow question exclamation mark or a red X you will need to update/reinstall the driver for the device if you computer came with a motherboard disk the driver could be on it
make sure your modem/routers settings are correct ie:password user name, firewall settings to allow your internet to connect also test the lead/s whether usb or ethernet you might check your modem first to make sure that you are getting a connection
last resort ring your ISP internet sevice provider get them to check your modem for internet access online
hope this helps
