Hi,

Comic Book Archive files mainly consist of a series of image files, typically PNG or JPEG files, compressed using one of several popular methods. The file extension indicates the archive format used:

Comic Book Archive viewers offer various dedicated functions to read the content, like one page forward/backwards, go to first/last page, zoom or print.
CDisplay was the first application to support the CBR format. CDisplayEx, a free and open source clone of CDisplay, duplicates many features of the original CDisplay. For users of the GNOME desktop environment, the Evince document viewer includes support for the format and users of the KDE 4 desktop environment can use Okular.

Hope this helps

Tips downloading torrents

What is a torrent?

first of all it is a method of downloading absolutely anything (you name it you have it) from internet when you search for software, audio, movies you will sometimes accidental stumble up into a torrent site but when you download the file it will be a very small fie size in kilobytes but this fill contains all the file locations that a particular file resides it cold contain 1000 of users information worldwide.

How does it happen?

a person might upload a file as a torrent and that person is called a "seed" because he has 100% of the file will say another person finds this torrent and start downloading it this person is considered as a "leecher" assume he has downloaded the file about 25%, When another 3rd person starts downloading this file he can retrieve this file from both the seeder and leecher and the 3rd person will also contribute to other people so by downloading a torrent you are taking the file and *** well as you are helping to upload it to another person
When a leecher has downloaded the file 100% that person becomes a seeder

How to download

You need a torrent client to download torrent files (torrent extension is *.torrent)
Example
Utorrent-a small light weight torrent client
Azureus-a java based torrent client

What Should I look for when downloading torrents?

1. Find a good site (the hardest )

Because torrents are a popular way of spreading viruses (Trojan horse) you must be careful when you are selecting the site

My recommendations’ are
For software/movies/games/TV shows-btjunkie.com, www.mininova.com,www.isohunt.com
For high quality movies-axxo.superfundo.com

2. Download the torrent with highest number of seed not the leecher

when you do this you are on the safe side because more people have the complete file

3. Be careful when downloading torrents that contains zip or rar format

some torrents are there to fool you after downloading it requires a password witch you can’t find

4. Read all comments before downloading a torrent

this will be very help full for you before you download a big file example in a movie torrent comment some people will comment about the quality of the movie sound quality or is it a camera copy saving you valuable time

Use Google as a Music search engine

You can use Google operators to customize or convert your Google search page into a file search engine e.g. you can search for ONLY .pdf files if you are looking for an ebook or something similar; you can search only for .ppt files if you are looking for a presentations; you can filter your search results for .mp3 or .rm files if you are looking for music downloads. In other words you can use Google as a file search engine (or a Music search engine, as in this Tip).

Method 1:
  1. Go to www.Google.com
  2. In the Search box, type intitle:"index.of" (music file format you want, separeted by an "|") -htm -html -asp -php(Title of the Song) and press [Enter].
  3. Place an "_" between the title of the song
  4. Select one working link and download it!
For Example:
intitle:"Index.of"(mp3|rm) -htm -html -asp -php(bewafa)

Method 2:
  1. Go to www.Google.com
  2. In the Search box, type ?intitle:index.of? music file format you want, separeted by an "|" FILE_NAME
  3. Hit [Enter] and search for the best link
For Example:
?intitle:index.of? mp3|rm bewafa

Cannot send avanquest estimates and invoices from gmail to customer's yahoo email

What format are your Avanquest forms being created in? The best solution would be to print the estimates and invoices as PDF documents which should then be able to be sent through any email service provider. . . .It is quite likely that the current document attachments are being considered as potential virus attachments and are being screened out by the email service. . . .You can install a free PDF Printer from such as Bullzip http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php which can be selected like a normal printer and which will produce the documents in PDF format.

I can not open a zip file that has been paid for.

I find it odd that you got the zip version for the same price as the disk.

Did you download the zip and try to extract it? What format is the zip file and are you using a file extractor that's compatible with it? Is the zip file password protected?

I know these all seem like silly questions, but sometimes people think that the zip can be opened within the email and aren't aware that there are different formats. Password protected zip files can be unlocked with the password and in some cases there are tools online that can do it for you if you don't know the password. Unfortunately, these applications will come up as a virus on your computer because what the do is check the algorithm of your file and extract the password and the file. By extracting the password, the virus protection looks at it as being a hacker tool, which in reality it is, but not for the wrong reasons.

Ok. Now on to the next part of your question.

If you've already contacted the seller and they've chosen to ignore you, there's a good likelihood that they just scammed you.

The reason I say this, is because any reputable person/business would honor your request for the disk right away or at the very least check the zip file to make certain that they had indeed sent you a good file.

At this point in the game, I'd suggest you file a dispute against them with PayPal.

PayPal will monitor the activity of the dispute that has to be settled within a certain time that they set and if it's not resolved they keep it on file and is a reflection against the sellers account.

An email is sent to the seller directly from PayPal so it can't be ignored or they can't say that they weren't aware of the dispute.

When someone makes a purchase through them the account will show that the seller has an unsettled dispute against their account and will generally set off the bells and whistles that this person isn't worth dealing with.

If there are to many unresolved disputes against the account, PayPal will limit or freeze the account which means that the seller can't request money, send money or close down their account to remove funds.

This is PayPal's way of protecting the consumer.

I hope this helps and you can get this resolved as soon as possible.

All the best to you.
