Thinkpad Power on Password is stored on an EEPROM chip and removing the BIOS battery will not reset this password.
You can access this EEPROM to get the password but you need electronic skills.

How do I remove a family member from icloud

I am sure that you are concerned about your family's photos, due to the recent icloud hack. Let me assure you that your photos are safe. Allow me to explain myself. The hacker used a bruteforce method. Which is basically a program that guesses a bunch of passwords until it gets the right one. On most website, after you enter the password incorrectly 5 times, it asks for human verification, where it asks you to type all the weird letters and numbers. Apple was one of the only companies that didn't have this kind of protection. But let me assure you they do now, and I promise there is no way anyone can get in to your account you give them your password.

Forgot password for dell inspirion 1440laptop

You'll need to reset your Windows/Hotmail/etc. password. Microsoft has integrated the whole shebang, now. So once you have access (borrow a family member's or friend's) to another computer, reset your Microsoft password. Then, with the laptop hooked up to the internet, log in with the new password. That should work.

Samsung R520 laptop

If you laptop is not powering up, try troubleshooting the usual suspects.

1. Is it out of juice? Plug it into the wall and let it charge.

2. If the battery micro controller has malfunctioned, try removing the battery and plugging the laptop directly into the wall.

3. Is the power cable shorted or dead? If you know a friend or family member with the same or similar laptop, you might try using their power cable to rule out yours being the culprit.

4. Adjustment errors happen sometimes. If you laptop has a brightness level for the screen on the keyboard, it might be turned all the way down. Try turning it up while on to see if anything changes.

5. Listen carefully to the laptop and observe any noises it makes while trying to boot it up. If you hear the happy sounds of electrical current running throughout the system, your problem just got more complicated.

6. If it boots but you see nothing on screen, it may be a dead or dying LCD. If it flickers at all, it could either be a shotty power/video cable link OR the LCD is done and needs to be replaced.

It could be anything, just troubleshoot it like a boss. Also, give me more information next time other than "not working."

I can not access to my boot menu the screen is black with a sign of lock asking password for tree time what should i do

Your computer's motherboard has a "power-on" password. The password exists to protect you, if a thief has stolen your computer, and is trying to use it.

Did one of your family-members add that password? If so, ask them for the password.

Laptop can acess harddrive

Sounds like a BIOS password to me...

No hacks, or tricks will work with software, as the BIOS is specifically preventing you from booting ANYTHING.

Some laptops feature RESET buttons on the underside, or hidden under the battery to resolve this issue, but more than likely, the laptop must be opened up and have the CMOS battery removed temporarily to wipe the password.

laptop does not post: (then it is a hardware problem)
· try the following first.check battery is seated correctly and that the power pack is functioning,
· if the battery has gone flat and the power pack is not working ,the laptop will not start.
· Remove any hardware you may have installed prior to you having the problem.
· remove the screw(s) holding the cover plate on the back of the laptop where the ram lives and remove the memory sticks,
· clean the gold edges both sides, with rubbing alcohol or a pencil eraser, and re-insert them, (not an ink eraser as it will do damage)
· swap them around if you have more than one,
· try one at a time.
· if you only have one, borrow one from a friend or try the ram in your friends laptop ,if that's possible, or
· get a friend or family member to download a "memory chip diagnostic's" program such as memcheck 1.70 and boot up of it ,it will check your ram ,if not
· take the ram to your local pc shop and ask them to check it for you (they may do that for you)
· if you can establish that the ram and power pack is ok, and anti virus and recovery /system disc's do not work,
· it may be that the motherboard or the cpu is failing
· Generally a dead hard drive would not stop the laptop from posting.

good luck with that and let me know how you get on
please rate my efforts
