You should clean or replace the pad at some point but most of the time you can get away with resetting the ink counter a few times before you need to clean or replace the pad. You'll want to reset the waste tank counter as well. The instruction manual will tell you how to do that.

It does not start

During maintenance or replacement of the hoses it is easy to swap the hose connections at the primer. The center connection from the primer connects to the return hose that connects into the tank. The feed from the carburetor connects to the side connection of the primer bulb.

If the tank is full it can fool you as you prime because the return line to the tank that is full can be a pickup of unfiltered fuel and bring debris and air into the carburetor.

The primer pulls the fuel through the carburetor purging the air out. Usually seven strokes are recommended. You can observe through the primer bulb the air as it is purged resulting in no air left in the primer or carburetor..

That is exactly the case. The fuel is pumped out of the tank from an in the tank pump. IT goes down the fuel line, through a filter, into the fual rail that is on the engine. This presents fuel to the injectors and any that is not used is returned to the tank.

Antifreeze is all over my right front inner tire and car reads allmost hot

There is a leak somewhere in your anitfreeze tank. This problem needs to be fixed. Check for leaks in the tank or anything that attaches to it. You say it is on your tire? Look in the wheel well and see where it is coming from. Hope this helps! Please rate 4 thumbs up!

No fuel guage readings, cant use front fuel tank vehicle stalls out, fuel coming out of front fuel tank cap when running,1988 ford e150

im thinking that this has dual tanks and one of the selonoids that switch the tanks have failed, Its the fuel coming out the cap that is tough. does it flow out the cap like its over full or is it just a couple splash drops like rain drop? does the other fuel tank read the same fill level while this is happening?? Cause the only way the front fuel tank can get full is if the fuel is being pumped into it by means of the fuel in the other tank. Now im not sure if they run return lines on that but if they did and the return line is near the cap i could understand the couple splash drops. Vehicle stalls on the front tank because the selonoid that opens and closes allowing fuel to be picked up to the motor is bad or the electrical switch or wiring is bad. selonoids are located under van close to the front of tank.

Acts like it is out of gas runs 15 seconds primer is full tank is full

The primer is on the return side of the carburetor. It draws fuel from the tank through the carb and returns it to the tank. I think you have an hole in the supply line from the tank to the carb.

On my 1994 f150. i have a problem with my fuel system. my truck has two fuel tanks a dash mounted elect. switch for switching tanks.my problem is that when i switch to rear tank the engine dies. but the...

first go to the fuel pumps electrical connections, switch the dash to the front tank and measure power, then to the rear tank, do you have power at both fuel pumps? if so the rear tank pump is bad

check the vent and return line pipes for a clog, it sounds like all return fuel is going to one tank.
