PS2 on LDM-3210 with no Media Receiver Unit?

Hello all. I recently inherited the TV in question, but without the media receiver unit or the Sony specific cable. Now, since it is impossible to find the MRU on its own here in Serbia (trust me...) I was wondering if there was any way of bypassing it - for instance to connect my PS2 via an adapter of sorts - because other than that I am going to either use it as a coffee table or make a garbage collector very happy -.-'. Now, I have been all over the internet for the past few days, but I have never seen anyone ask a similar question; every single question is "where to buy the MRU". So, if anyone here is inspired, I would gladly accept your 2 cents. Cheers.

Well, I found some websites (namely this one:http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_does_the_... but it is for Pioneer TVs. Is this applicable in my case?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Can I use media receiver PDP-R04U with PDP-436PU display?

You need the pioneer media cables hooked up to the media receiver to the plasma unit itself. each end has 2 different plugs. one has 2 thumb screws and the other is a squeezable end that clicks into place. They MUST be on before you plug in any power what so ever!!!! And yes, other information is being passed through.

Have DPD 503PU Pioneer Plasma Display TV. There is no place to place cable cord and there are two cords missing, one gray and one white. Can you tell me what these cords plug into and where to get o

This may be the PDP 503PU. There are supposed to be two parts to the unit; you appear to have the Display but not the media receiver and the standard accessories for the receiver.

The media receiver has the inputs for coaxial cable and component video. The gray and white cables are the system cables which feed the signal from the receiver to the display. Most of the on-line sources that I deal with do not have the system cables in stock.

The manual for the unit is available from Pioneer: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/pe/vgn/images/portal/cit_11221/50019PDP5030_4330_2002411152202500.pdf .

This unit should go to an E-waste recycling agency, IMO. Without the receiver and the system cables, it's useless. I wish that I had better news for you.

Sony wega engine LCD model; ldm-3210 Monitor wont power on or respond to remote power botton. LCD flashes stand light continuously. What is the solution to this problem???

If the Standby light is blinking at the front panel of the TV, it seems that there is an internal malfunction occurred in the TV.
I will forward a link to a page where you can get more information and troubleshooting steps for this issue.

http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=C399467

Please perform the steps provided on the page. If the issue still persists then service of the TV is required.

Digital Transition

It's analog.  You need to purchase a digital receiver.  I personally have a USB external digital tuner running in Media Center 2005.  Search Ebay for "ATSC usb".  There's a lot of different options and most of them are pretty inexpensive.  To use a digital tuner in Media Center 2005, you have to leave the analog tuner / tuners in also.  You should still be able to use your current remote control with the new digital tuner.
