SOURCE: looking for a instruction book for janome limited edition sewing machine my style 30

I've always been able to get a free PDF downloadable manual from Janome. They are happy to send you a manual for your specific machine via email, and they've always been very helpful to me. Here's a link to them:

Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Sew Cute SC20 Mechanical Sewing Machine: how to thread sew cute machine ...

Place the origin bobbin thread so the thread is coming up (clockwise) extend to the thread tention, to the top thread holder, then down through the arm and then through the bottom thread holder, through the square thread guide above the needle, then through the needle, front to back. Check out a picture on ebay or amazon. That could help you visualize it.
If you are having trouble with the thread breaking, try changing the thread on the bobbins. The thread that comes with the machine is poor quality and jams & breaks. If you still have trouble, and might suspect the needle is dull or bent. Change it, it makes a difference. I had the thread problem with the machine right out of the box. Changed it and it works great!

SOURCE: i have Bernina VIRTUOSO 153

The CPS software and cable allows you to pick from a catalog and change the stitches on your machines memory.

Standing in front of the machine, the PC plug is on the right.

If you cannot update designs on machine with CPS program, click here.

If you have a problem with your CPS v4.0 Software and an uninstall/reinstall did not correct the problem, click here.

Windows Vista and 7 Compatibility Information:
BERNINA CPS v4.1 - CPS v4.1 program does not require a dongle in order to open and should be able to work on Windows Vista and Windows 7. In a few tests, there has been reports that a 'Registration of Knob.ocx failed' error may occur when you attempt to open CPS v4.1. Clicking OK from this message should allow you to open CPS.
If other specific problems occur within older versions of CPS, the solution would be to update CPS v4.1. Contact your BERNINA dealer for details on how to get a copy of the BERNINA CPS v4.1 Installation CD.

Singer sewing machine 534 Machine and bobbin are threaded - won' sew

A few things you can check are.

1. is the needle the right one for the machine?
2. is the needle properly inserted and oriented correctly for the machine?
3. Is the bobbin inserted correctly, so it unspools correctly for the machine?

If that all looks right, then take the needle plate off and watch the shuttle hook. It should be very close to the needle when the needle is at its bottom most part of the stroke. If it is well behind, your machine\'s timing is retarded. You\'ll need to take it in for adjustment.

I need information on Necchi sewing machines. In particular model 541. I have done a web search to no avail. Where can I find what the model looks like, is capable of, attachments available etc. ?

as for a manual, you\'d
have to buy one, because as far as I know there are no free ones,
I\'m including a link for a place where you can get some part and the
manual, most of the time with a older sewing machine, you need to
get another sewing machine just for parts or check with a sewing
parts store online to see if they have or can get any parts, some
times you can get parts and some times you can\'t..
necchi sewing machine are a good machine,, I personally own
2, a mechanical one and electronic one, if this machine is used
and it\'s from a individual I suggest to proceed with caution, you
never know what troubles your buying, if it\'s from a sewing store
make sure they show you the machine works thru every stitch.

Problem with foot going over differing heights of fabric at seam joint and feed dogs barely gripping fabic enough

I've been sewing for over 30 years, if it were me & I bought a Bernina & that happened I'd take it back & find out why it happened.
I'd take a piece of the fabric & thread & let them sew it & see what happens.
a machine like that should sew so good, you'd be saying look what I sewed, instead of this can't be happening...

My new singer sewing machine(after I sew 2-3 pillow cases) Then top thread can not take out bottom thread from bobbin case. I can not stitch anything with only top tread. What is wrong? should I return...

I've been sewing for over 30 years & I would agree the machine needs to be returned & get another one, if you got it at a sewing center ask them to demonstrate the machine so you'll know it sews.

Where can I locate the fuse<

Hello,

The Pfaff 7570 Creative Designer is a computerized sewingand embroidery machine that has the ability to connect to the computer, andhave embroidery designs sent to the embroidery machine. The sewing andembroidery machine has many features, including hundreds of general sewingfunctions, a separate embroidery module, and on-screen editing features. TheCreative Designer 7570, manufactured in the 1990s, was the first sewing andembroidery combination machine ever made by Pfaff.

1. Usingthe Sewing Machine
1 Turn on your sewing machine using the "On"button located just below the turn wheel on the right side of the machine.Thread your Pfaff 7570. Note that Pfaff sewing machines thread from left toright, not right to left like other sewing machines. The upper tension discsshould be raised at their highest position while threading, and the presserfoot should be raised up until you thread the needle. Drop the presser footright before you thread the needle. The prevents thread problems during use. 2 Insert a full bobbin and retrieve the bobbin threadthrough the thread plate. Raise your sewing foot and needle to its highestposition; hold the needle thread taught with your left hand, lower the needleinto the thread plate using your right hand, and then raise the needle. As youraise the needle, the needle thread will catch the bobbin thread, and pull itup. There should be a loop of thread intertwined with the needle thread. Usetweezers, your finger, or a straight pin to retrieve the bobbin thread that isvisible through the thread plate, and pull it through the plate. 3 Place the fabric under the presser foot, and drop thepresser foot. Choose the stitch you want to use from the top stitch display, right above the top thread feed. Press the '0-9" button located on thesewing machine's front panel, and a display screen will come up. Input thethread number, and press the 'OK' button located on the sewing machine's frontpanel. The stitch will display, and you are ready to sew. Repeat Step 3 foreach stitch you want to use.

2. SettingUp the Embroidery Unit
1 Turn the sewing machine off. Take out the embroiderymachine unit, locate the connection bushing on the back of your embroideryunit, and match it up with the connection bushing on your sewing machine. Theconnection bushing should be located next to a yellow sticker on yourembroidery unit, and somewhat resembles a serial port on a computer. Slide theembroidery unit onto the sewing machine with the sewing machine turned off. Connectto the bushing carefully as you slide the embroidery unit onto the sewingmachine. Use your embroidery unit manual if you need assistance. 2 Insert an embroidery card. Your embroidery unitshould contain an embroidery card labeled embroidery card 1. Use that or useanother Pfaff 7570 card that you own. Turn on the sewing machine. 3 Open the bobbin case area just below the threadplate, and lower the feed dogs by pushing the feed dog switch to the right.Press the card button located on the front face of your sewing machine. Adisplay with pop up; choose embroidery designs or monogram and a new screenwill pop up with your design choices. Choose the design you want, and press"OK." A checklist screen appears. Do everything on the checklist, andpress "OK." Use your embroidery unit manual if you need help. 4 Start embroidery by pressing the foot pedal. At thistime, your hoop should already be attached to the embroidery unit becauseyou've already gone through the checklist. Your embroidery manual displayscolored picture diagrams that are very helpful in understanding everything inyour checklist menu.
Thanks for using fixya
