Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Why am i getting ''please wait try again later'' message

Test the remote control. Use the digital camera , point the r control viewing the camera, and with the camerA ON, you must see the LED I.R ON. see the picture. If NOT you must open the remote and clean the keypads from dirty+ and resolder the cold joint from the LED.
try again. However if the LED is o.k read your owner manual download for free go www. fitness.manualsonline.com

Problem with the terminology and interpreting the circuit

Can you take in-focus photo of wiring diagram shown in timer manual, and attach them to comment?

1) Copy following links:
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/Wire-GM40-timer-600.jpg
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html

2) Right now, dec 2012, there is no product manual for this timer.
Thank you for including the terminal markings.

3) I assume jumpers are for changing voltage?
Please add comment and say what your product manual says about J1 J2 J3 J4 jumpers.

4) Load is water heater
Timer is clock that is set and programmmed to turn switches on-off.
NC is normally closed > when timer is OFF, NC and NC2 terminals are ON
NO is normally open > when timer is OFF, NO and NO2 terminals are OFF
When timer turns ON, then the switching reverses, and NO terminals turn ON, and NC terminals turn OFF.

No 'ON' indicator in the self timer menu

The first clock sets the self-timer for a ten-second delay, the second for a two-second delay. Select the one you want to set the self-timer. Start the self-timer by pressing the shutter release button as usual.

Full details are in the "Self-Timer Photography" section of the manual (page 60 in my copy). If you need a manual you may download a copy here.

THIS SITE KEEPS POSTING ANSWERS THAT ARE TOTALLY UNRELATED TO MY QUESTION

Try posting your question in a more appropriate area of FixYa. From what I can tell, you're asking about a porch light timer of some type. You've posted twice in the "Cars & Trucks" area and three times in the "Digital Cameras" area. Your questions are seen by experts in those areas, none of whom may know anything about porch light timers.

Troubles with the Yongnuo Mc-36 timer control

You should turn auto-focus off and manually focus on your subject. Actually you should really turn off all automatic functions and set the camera up manually for best results.

Self timer stuck

hello

Have you tried turning the drive mode lever from self timer mode to single shot mode? If not, surrounding the mode dial are a couple of levers: one being the on and off lever and the other being the drive mode lever. if you move the drive mode lever up to the first option (illustrated by a single box, meaning single shot), you'll be able to turn the self timer off.

If that doesn't work, then it might be a system bug/error. In that case, download the latest firmware here and upgrade your camera.

Hope this helps!

HI, i HAVE JUST RECEIVED AN SX130 IS AS A GIFT BUT I CANNOT FIND IN THE MANUAL ANYTHING ABOUT THE SELF TIMER. I CANNOT WORK OUT HOW TO SET IT. CAN YOU GIVE ME DIRECTION PLEASE? THANK YOU V....

Press the Down arrow (from the buttons around the Func./Set button. Either turn the ring or use the up/down arrows to select the clock icon with 10 in it. Press the Func./Set button. Press the shutter button halfway to get the camera to focus on the subject as you normally would. Then press the shutter button fully. The lamp will blink and the timer sound will play. When there are two seconds left before the camera takes the picture, the lamp and timer sound will speed up. The lamp stays lit when the flash goes off.The Canon self-timer basic settings are on page 57 in the pdf of user's guide. Direct link is: http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/5/0300003855/04/PSSX130IS_CUG_EN_03.pdf . Page 63 has the details for using a blink as the trigger for a delayed shot (since I wear glasses I've never tried this type of timer). Page 64 has the directions for a "take picture after a new face enters the frame of the shot".

If the direct link doesn't work, start here: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/digital_cameras/powershot_sx130_is#BrochuresAndManuals .

I hope this helps.

I think your camera needs to be reset.

Please try the following steps.

1. Turn on the camera.

2. Enter settings.

3. Reset your camera to manufacturer settings.

4. Try to take picture with self timer.

I hope it is helpful.
