I am getting some black debris from my washing machine. All the filters seem clean but during the wash cycle some small black pieces like plastic being released into the drum and through the outlet. The amount has increased the past few washes and now the cycle stops mid-way through the wash cycle

How do I clean the debris filter in my front loading Samsung washing machine?. Open the filter cover(A) by using a coin or key.Take one end of the emergency draining tube (B) out.Open the emergency drain cap (C) by pulling it. Allow all the water to flow into a bowl. Note: hold the cap at the end of the emergency draining tube (B) and slowly pull it out. Note: you may need to drain several bowlfuls of water.
. Prepare a dry cloth. Wash any dirt or other material from the debris filter. Make sure the drain pump propeller behind the debris filter is not blocked.Replace the debris filter cap tightly.Reinsert the emergency drain cap and the drain tube.ake sure to replace the debris filter and emergency drain cap after cleaning it. If they are not reinserted properly your washing machine may leak or otherwise malfunction.Close the filter cove
this sounds like flow sensor failure,it it fails machine will either not fill up or fill and drain without washing its a cheap part to replace and is fitted downstream of inlet valve behind l/h/s side panel either attached to inle hose or heat exchanger.
I do not knnow either, but what I know is that after having washed black socks in my machine, there will be black particles floating around and sticking to the next washload. Sowhat I dois to doas you do clean before washing, then I put some rags old towels or pillowcases and wash on 40 degrees Centigrade. Then I clean the machine again and am especially careful to clean the rubber rings around the door and the doore specially the lower part. good luck Kolbrun
You will have to clean out the large black hose on the bottom of the tub. The only way to get to it is to remove the top cover from the washer then remove the front of the washer, after removing the front you will be able to reach in and remove the hose and clean out the rubber backing. You can try it from the back of the washer first and may have some success but from my experience you will have to go from the front maybe both. Good luck and have some towels ready to catch the water.
Hi, If you are getting this code it is because your washing machine has tried for at least ten minutes to drain the water out of the machine. The most likely cause of this problem is that you have a plugged pump filter or you have something stuck in the pump filter. Make sure that you unplug your washing machine. To clean out the pump filter you must empty the washing machine water. The best way to do this is to manually drain the water into a low bucket or basin. Then lay a towel down to catch to remaining small amount of water. Remove the pump filter, clean out any debris, and wash out the filter. Then plug your washer back in and restart the washing machine.Check that your machine is properly leveled. A washer that is too far out of level may not drain properly. Make sure that you are level front to back as well as side to side. This solution will solve your problem Thank you !!
If its a samsung model, which I am assuming it is as I have just had the same error code, it means you need to clean your debris filter.
If its a samsung washing machine...to clean the debris filter you need to open the panel which is located on the front of the washing machine on the bottom right (you will need a coin or a key to do this) When you do you will see a large black plastic screw on the left and a small white plastic screw on the right.
The 1st thing you need to do is pull out the white screw (this is the emergency drain hose) have a bowl or bucket ready (the hose doesnt reach that far) and pull of the white knob (i had to kind of twist and pull, a little harder than i thought)
After you have drained the water you can now clean the debris filter (the large black screw) Have some towels or another bowl or bucket ready underneath as more water will drain. When all gone you can twist off the black screw and remove anything blocking (I had a coin and a plastic wrapper and some tooth picks. No more error message.
1: Check that the Dyson's brushbar knob is turned to the "Carpets" setting for vacuuming non-delicate and raised pile carpet. Vacuuming carpet on the "Bare floor" setting usually leaves a telltale single wheel mark on the pile, and pickup is severely limited.
2:Locate the removable filter on the side of the vacuum. It will be marked with a raised circular representation.
3:Press down on the release button with your thumb as you lift filter housing up and out
4:Examine the filter for debris. Wash the blue foam and yellow framed filter in cold water. (See Tips section.) Let dry for 12 hours. Do not wash the outer filter housing that snaps into the vacuum; simply wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Replace the filter when completely dry.
5:Locate the airway inspection valve on the opposite side of the vacuum. Press the release button as you lift the valve up and away from the machine.
6:Remove any debris or clogs you find inside.
7:Use a soft cloth to clean up lighter debris and completely clear the airway valve.
8:Tip the Dyson vacuum over to find the U-bend at the back of the unit. Press the release button as you pull the U-bend down and away from the machine.
9:Inspect the U-bend and remove debris. Be sure to line up the release button as you snap the U-bend back into place.
10:Check all removable pieces to be sure they are attached properly and snapped correctly into place. The soleplate should be flush with the cleanerhead.
What you need for this :
Large slotted screwdriver
Soft cleaning cloths
Household surface cleaner, safe for plastics
Crochet hook or similar long-handled tool
Unplug the vacuum before doing any troubleshooting. Follow all manufacturer's instructions and warnings. The yellow encased filter and blue foam filter pad can be submerged and rinsed in cold water only. Do not use detergent. Do not wash or dry in dish or laundry machines. Do not dry in the oven or microwave.
