When you replace only burned or damage parts, you should use a good meter an check all parts around them. Many times the part destroyed is just part of problem. Its going to take a service tech to really go over it now. Caps an resistors go bad when you have parts burned. Not much one can tell you without seeing it
If you look closely at the color bands on the resistor. That will tell you what resistor you need to replace. All resistors are standardized color coded. You can find out the resistance online. Hope this helps.
Dear Sir, i have Prestige PIC 1.0 induction stove.The issue with the stove is whenever i switch ON the stove the 2 Watt Resistor in the PCB(R50 After Diode IN 4007) getting blown off.Even after replacing the resistor also I have the same issue.Can anyone help me on this that where i have to check, whats wrong in the stove.? thank you

This is an issue that is currently the reason for a number of Class action Law suits against Sony for both the KDS-R50 and R60 models. The suit has provided an extended warranty for in-house repairs through June 2009. Call a number and they will schedula a replacement free of charge. I just had mine replaced for the same reason (Grren tent, yellow or orange stains.)
