the engine is getting to hot & shutting down either not the right fuel mix or not enough oil in engine sometimes the mixture screws need to be adjusted

Hello . First you have to remove the 3 nuts holding the plastic back part . 2 nuts are on the bottom and one at very top of the machine .
Then you just have to remove the 3 phillips head screws holding the tank and remove the fuel line . Hope this help .

Hello . After you replace the primer bulb , the left tube on the primer bulb goes to the fuel filter inside the tank and the one on the right is just a fuel return that goes inside the tank . Hope this help

A few possibilities, first check the tiny little vent hole in the gas cap for a clog.Second, check the fuel filter in the tank. Third, remove the muffler and inspect the piston for scores and that the rings are free, remove ant carbon build up from the exhaust port. If the trouble persists its time to go into the carb, The pump and metering diapgragms will harden over time and loose their elasticity and cause this problem also

You will need to adjust the high speed setting on your Carburetor jet. Turning the screw out just 1/2 turn or so should do the trick. It is not so hard to adjust the Carburetor, however, yes you do need a special tool that is very hard to get your hands on, in order to adjust the jet screws. They don't make many engines with plain screw heads anymore. The newer Carburetors are factory set lean so they can pass emission standards.
