My Hammacher Schlemmer Projection Alarm Clock and Weather Monitor will not project the outside temp. It only projects the inside temp. How do I change? Also, can't change the time zone.

No solution but to return it...very annoying product but yet I like the projected display, very sharp and bright. The replacement was much better, it loses connection with outside transmitter often..but occasionally we see the outside temp

Need instructions for Discovery Kids Projection Daisy Bloom Alarm Clock

1.set time: hold down "clock" button for five seconds, then use up and down arrows to change, and press "clock" button once to toggle between month/day/year/hour/minute. Try it a few times b/c sometimes it just goes to the alarm setting (i don't know why, i think it's a glitch).
2.set alarm: hold down "alarm" button for 5 seconds, use up and down arrows to change, press "alarm" button once to toggle between hour/minute. press "clock" button to return to clock
3.turn on/off alarm: press "alarm" button once, press up to turn alarm on and press up again to turn alarm off. press "clock" button to return to clock
4.to project the images: push the buttons that look like video cameras. to focus the image, rotate the cylinder around the lens that projects the image. on the daisy clock, there's a button on top that you can use to flip the projected image of the time upside down. use the dial next to the lens-cylinders to select a different image (you may need to point the cylinders in a different direction to reach the dial)

Discovery kids rocket clock - no manual

I can't upload a manual but I can give you instructions:
1) set time: hold down "time set" button for five seconds, then use up and down arrows to change, and press "time set" button once to toggle between m/d/y/hour/minute. If it goes to the alarm setting instead of time setting, try again.
2) set alarm: hold down "alarm set" button for 5 seconds, use up and down arrows to change, press "alarm set" button once to toggle between hour/minute. press "time set" button to return to clock

3) turn on/off alarm: press "alarm set" button once, press "up" to turn alarm on and press "up" again to turn alarm off. press "time set" button to return to clock

4) to project the images: push the buttons that read "time" or "image". to focus the image, rotate the cylinder around the lens that projects the image. use the dial under the lens-cylinders to select a different image

5) military time: press the "up" button when the time is displayed (not when you're setting the time) to change from 12 to 24 hr or vise-versa

Good Luck!

Hi I have a DP100 and some of the pixels on the projection dont work - the clock is new this week but the supplier doesnt appear to have come across this before - any ideas?

I had same problem with projection on my DP200. Pixels began slowly disapear after year of functioning. I found source of the problem. Contact between LCD matrix (it stays next to red LED) and circuit board with controller is poor.It is easy to fix. 1) turn-off device2) remove front (where the lens) and back plastic element (both are on glue)3) disassemble projection unit
4) press down "cable" to the board by your nail, and move it over it to make sure that each path has contact.
5) repeat #4 for second end of cable (on lcd matrix)
6) repeat #4,5 for second cable and second circuit board
7) turn-on device, avoid looking to LED light, and check picture on matrix (flashlight can help to see picture on matrix).
8) assemble it back

RP3721A How to turn off NAP button

I've seen some comments that you can't turn NAP off once it's set.

You can turn off NAP by holding down the NAP button for a few seconds again once the clock has exited NAP set mode and is showing the time. When you first hit the button, it'll go back into NAP set mode (probably showing 0:20) but after a few seconds, you'll go back to the time with NAP off.

Trick is, the button's a little quirky, and you have to hold down just the edge closest to the back of the clock. The middle of the button or any other edge just throws you back into NAP time adjust but never turns it off. I have no idea why--must be a design or manufacturing flaw of some kind.

Projection does not work. Light is on, not bright enough to project

Mine did the same. Just unplug it from the power and remove the battery inside the back cover for a few seconds. Put it back together and plug it in! It will work perfectly. It works until the power goes out again and you have to do it again.
