SOURCE: Forward/Reverse switch not working Revo Pride

Could it be in free-wheel mode. Most Prides have a pull up knob at the rear of the scooter.

SOURCE: The scooter rar wheels locked up nothing moves

hi, if the freewheel lever is jammed which is located on the drive motor, take the rear cover off and make sure the lever is not bent,

you will see how the freewheel lever is mounted under normally a rubber cover on the side of the electric motor ,

Let me know

SOURCE: batteries are fully charged but won't go forward

it should show 24v not 13,5volts, sounds like you only measuring one battery,

Check the fuse under the seat and check the reset button,

Could be a bad connection to the batteries or to motor check the B+, B- voltages, should show around 24v.

SOURCE: I have a Pride Legnd..the scooter started loseing

hi, first you need to check the connections to the batteries then to the motor controller, and don't dismiss the speed pot, disconnect the speed pot and try a normal 5K pot inplace of it, if the scooters responds you find the problem just a case of getting the right speed pot. Check the freewheel switch, normally it located on the motor side.

Riding my TGA Supersport mobility scooter when I paused at a road crossing, went to pull off and it wont move forward or backwards. Any ideas?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to Mobility Scooters albeit wrong make.

Likely to be a controller issue so needs dealer diagnosis. Others have had the same happen to them.

The error lite on Buzzaround Lite scooter flashing

5 flash code is the electro magnetic Brake. This is referring to the brake on the motor that can be released by the freewheel lever.

1. place the freewheel lever into the free wheel position. Ensure the scooter is in free wheel and move the scooter forwards and backwards a few times.

2. Place the freewheel lever in drive position, push on scooter to ensure it is in drive and does not move. Turn on key and press the throttle. If you have the same code again, call a technician to check the brake, chances are it needs replaced.

Can you help me try to figure out why my scooter will not move forward or backward? It is fully charged and the horn works.

I would get the batteries checked for power. Just because your charger shows fully charged quite often the batteries are low but enough power for lights or horn which does not take much power. i suspect bad batteries.

CTM HS-580 will not go, batteries are fully charged and no fault lights showing

H i, is there a click from the rear of the scooter when you push the lever to go forward or backwards ??

first of all disconnect one battery, now located the controller and follow the leads to the motor and brake , disconnect look at the connectors and refit , using contact cleaner if possible, making sure they are a good fit,,,

couple of points,,

The wiring from the throttle lever to the controller may be damaged so the controller never see's the pot move (resistance change) as it were..

At worse the controller may have failed, i offer a free testing service,, you only pay the return postage..

I have got a tga breeze mobility scooter. I charged the batteries as it was not used for a while the display showed up grey put in the key. The indicators & lights etc didn't work but the scooter would...

If the scooter functions OK backwards & forwards and drives the distance you require, then i would hazard a guess at the PCB in the tiller head, paired with BDI (Battery Display Indicator).
Batteries on the Breeze are most likely 70-100ah, and ideally must be kept charged, either after use or at least once per week if you are not using it. Failing to do so will end up costing a lot of money :-)

Scooter won't move

Things to check: Drive/Free wheeling switch, brake release lever (this activates an internal micro-switch that enable power to the drive system, battery box connectors (condition of contacts - corroded, missing, loose. etc.); main control cable (corrosion. lose or missing pins, etc). If all these are OK, could be controller or drive control potentiometers (speed, forward, backward) on the handle-bar (tiller).
Good luck!

Battery keeps a charge I have to push the scooter in gear and then it works

ok, that sounds like a load problem

check the motor brushes also it could be the speed pot has a intermittent connection, try moving it up and down as well as forward or backwards, it if bites while moving it up or down you need to replace the speedpot or wigwam as some people call it.

Make sure the connection between the batteries leading to the motor controller, normally a box or grey box are good, check the M+ M- lead connection the motor controller.

It is possible the the battery could be damaged after being stored for that length of time. If it was wasn't completely charged before storage, or if it was exposed to extreme temperatures (even for a short amount of time) you may need to find a replacement battery. http://www.batteryinternational.com/electric-scooter-batteries.html should have the battery you need.
