Question about Computers & Internet
The other day m laptop shut down without warning and it was completley off and flashed all kinds of colors across the screen. since then i try to turn it on it goes to boot but shuts right off. the battery has a full charge and when plugged in the battery light is on (orange) and the blue around the power button keeps going in and out when plugged in. when it shuts off now it goes to a white screen and stays that way.
Is the fan and vents free of dust? Is the laptop getting sufficent air flow? It sounds like power issues maybe multiple issues. Does it overheat? Difficult to say for sure. If your remove the battery?

SOURCE: Hello, As i was working on,
Looks like you have a faulty battery, since you bought your laptop 4 months ago, I think it is still covered by their warranty. Please try to contact the manufacturer about the possible battery replacement. :)
Some of the things to do/check if the manufacturer requires you to return your laptop to them: 1. Backup all your important files to a different media/storage, like an external hard drive or burn them to blank DVD's
2. You can also tell them that it MIGHT be your charger that's faulty. Either way, they SHOULD check the battery and charger.

Sorry to say but it sounds as if your battery is nearing the end of it's life. How long have you had this problem for? and how long have you had your laptop? Battery's let alone computer's don't have much more than a 5 year life span, that is if there maintained properly. My HP Pavilion is starting to slow after having it to 2 years, and battery life seems to have shorten by 30min. Well I hope this isn't the case as battery's are quite costy. But if this helps in any way, best of luck!

It is a sign that your battery is failing. Try to remove the battery then put it back. After that, try to check if you still experience the same thing. If so, then you need a new battery replacement.
Batteries usually start to degrade after a year or after 500 charges, whichever comes first.
