Question about Arris 3360 AT&T DSL Modem - -
I guess it's not a "PROBLEM" yet because it still works. I unplugged it all night, pushed reset on it before turning it on and still it continues to blink away - non-stop, unusual from normal. Have had this unit for about 4mths or less, I think. It's still working. Just don't understand all this blinking.
Here's the thing...if the modem is unplugged, and you press the "Reset" button, or any button, nothing will happen because the modem is UNPLUGGED.
When you plug it in again, there is usually a few minutes or so during which time the lights will blink. Eventually, when the DSL connection is established, the blinking should decrease. But, there will always be some blinking going on to indicate that data is being transmitted.
If the "Ethernet" light is blinking, then a computer that is plugged into the router is transmitting/receiving data. If the "Wireless" light is blinking, then a computer that using a wireless connection to the router is transmitting/receiving data.
If a red light blinks, then that usually means the DSL connection has been broken. When that happens, for whatever reason, the modem will automatically begin its initialization routine and will continue to do so until connection has been established. During that time, LEAVE IT ALONE.
If you uplug the device, or if you press ANY button while the device is attempting to correct itself, you can cause permanent damage.
So, you are correct. It's not a problem. I'm sure you've heard the phrase "If it's not broken, then don't fix it." There's a lot of truth to that.

and checked if u getting the default gateway and if u r able to open the routers page in the ie.
if this does not resolve the issue for further assistance how did this happen
whos ur isp , do u have ur isp's settings as every isp have their unique settings which must be entered.

the most easy way to connect to the internet is get a bluetooth connetion (zippys) press the tools find device on the bluetooth on ur phone press pair device and press dial up inthe username put ur mobile number and password mobile number dial up number *99# dial

This usually means something is not correct with your incoming signal. If your cable wire into the modem is being run off an amplifier in the wall this could be effecting your service. If the signal is too strong the modem won't be able to communicate for internet.
You could check the incoming wire to see if it is running off an amplifier. If it is you would need to run a new line that is not on the amplifier. I would recommend comcast coming out to check the signal frequency and make the necessary adjustments.
